The locagion is out of the city, the only thing aroumd is a bus station, a gas station with absolutely no shops nor atm anything like that. There is a supermarket at least next door and a burger king place. The hotrl is comfy, although old, the bed had a weird plastic bedding on it that was extremely anoying while moving around the bed , noisy , pfff that was bad, for a 4 star hotel i never seen that in my life. The bedding was not changed for the entire duration of my stay which was 4 nights, nor the towels, unless i asked myself the cleaning lady to do so. The ataff was somewhat overloaded, but understandable as they were holding a 2k people event for the duration of my stay. However they were lost, i had iasues with my reservation, although confirmed, they were asking me to move to another hotel 30 min !!! Away from the second day, it took a lot of nerves, gime, calls to booking . No one knew anything, they were just asking me to leave that they reserved me another hotel ??? Like wtff ??? I paid for this one a non refundable room, so i had lots of issues , luckyly in 24 hrs was resolved because i sinply refused to check out from a room which i had paid 2 months in advance for 4 nights!!! Even though the booking customer service was telling me my reservation is confirmed and the property has no right to cancel , but the guy at the reception was telling me tbey cancelled my booking a week ago and nobody informed me !!! All jn all my stay was not pleasest becaus eof this issues.

The city is beautiful. The sites however aren't much to look at. The only two really worth it was the cathedral and the jesuit church. For example, the synagogue, you enter and you've seen it all. That was a recurrent theme in all our visits. You could see a site in two minutes. The Alcazar was closed except for the military museum part of it. Not much to see

Incredible city and cathedral that everyone should visit.

Don't even think about driving into the old town. Park in one of the huge underground parking lots near the old town and walk or take a cab.

Toledo is a very busy town, but in keeping with its historic character, the streets are very narrow, cobbled, winding, and mostly very steep, except in the central squares. The high proportion of virtually silent electric vehicles, which drive very rapidly and agressively, means that you often find a vehicle on your heels, and you have to step into a doorway to make room for it to pass. It is not a town I would recommend to anyone with any mobility difficulties or sight impairment, as roads and pathways are often in poor repair and can easily cause falls. However, if you enjoy looking around medieval religious buildings there are many to choose from. We visited the Roman Baths, which was interesting, with very informative staff. A good map from the Tourist Information offices, or the hotel, is essential to keep your bearings.
We greatly enjoyed the Tourist Train (which seemed to be really good value compared with the Tourist Bus). We saw the key points in the town, and also were taken beyond the walls to look across the river from a distance.
The highlight of our time there was the day we decided to do a circuit of the town along the riverbank, with only the need for a short stretch on the roads. It was very beautiful, peaceful, and you could see the remains of many interesting buildings and bridges from a different perspective, alongside a range of wildlife and vegetation.

A very interesting hillside town, worth staying several days as opposed to a day trip from Madrid. More historical than Madrid and far easier to walk around ( but there are some hills!). Good walks in the surrounding countryside to admire the town. We came at Christmas and the lights were fantastic and more densely presented than the equivalent in Madrid.
Everything is cheaper than Madrid as well, what’s not to like !
Excellent location in the heart of ancient Toledo, a few meters from the Cathedral and City Hall. From the roof of the hotel offers a stunning panorama of the city.
Very convenient breakfast - light and delicious.
Getting to the hotel in a family car is a challenge, because the streets are very narrow with sharp turns.
The garage is right next to the hotel - very cramped for a family car, but again, we managed to both: drive and park the car in the garage (with the active help of a hotel employee)
This hotel is super nice! Historic in nature, but with beautiful modern updates and thoughtful decor. The Junior Suite Rooms are very spacious with views over Zocodover Plaza and the rooftop terrace has wonderful views of the Alcazar. The staff is amazing. At check-in they take their time to introduce you to the city and things to do and see. Eva was great at making sure our taxi back to Madrid was arranged to catch our flights back home. Excellent experience and worth the price when in Toledo.
We came by car and the hotel is in a great location for us - easy to reach from the motorway and only a short walk into Toledo old town. There is a free public car park 5 minutes walk from the hotel and parking directly in front of the hotel for a fee.
The hotel itself is very comfortable. The heating was switched on, as the night got quite chilly. The room was of a generous size. The reception staff were very helpful in explaining how to find our way round the old town and the main sights.
Great big room with a lovely bathroom with dual sink and bath. Lots of complimentary cosmetic goods in the bathroom. Nice little adjoining terrace with seating- overlooking the old town! Fabulous views in day or night! Fridge in the room was handy as there was no where to buy snacks in hotel. The best thing about this hotel was the outdoor pool and surrounding sun area! so relaxing and easy to cool off in the August heat. All while taking in the view of the old town.
Our room was extremely comfortable. The bed was just like heaven. Air conditioner was very efficient and quiet. The room and bathroom were really big and well designed. We loved cozy bathrobes, slippers, quality bath cosmetics. In addition, this hotel is pet friendly, has a parking garage and is in the walking distance from the old town. We would choose this hotel chain again when in Spain.
The apartment is wonderful and cute, the location is everything you need while visiting Toledo! The host was more then helpful, let us check in before check in time and helped with parking. We only stayed for two nights and didn’t cook much but you have everything in the kitchen! Waking distance from very good restaurants and all atracción!
Clean and friendly staff, large underground parking and elevator to the room. The pool and area are nice to relax with a view to Toledo old town.
A Taxi to the Cathedral was about 10 Euro. We decided to walk back over the pedestrian roman bridge. That took us 25 min. from the bridge to the hotel.
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect within the romantic old town of Toledo. The rooms are slightly old but I personally love the flair of these kind of hotels. Also the hotel has a lot of common space and a fantastic rooftop. Staff was also very kind and helpful.
Staff very attentive & personable. Very quite location. Great atmosphere. Only a 5 room boutique hotel so my husband & I felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We enjoyed the quite, relaxing rooms in caves below listening to the music of the this wonderful place!
one of the best hotels in Spain (that I was a guest) near the cathedral, we stayed for one night, very comfortable, old house but seemed new in the same time. Great bathroom, lots of small details, we didn't had breakfast nor we used the spa.
The place in the heart of Toledo with easy access to all main sights. What makes this place great is the hotel staff that will walk the extra mile to make your stay a five star stay... the owners will be there for you all the time!!!
One of the best stays ever.
Comfy, atypical appartment (just what I love when staying somewhere) with an amazing view of Toledo's cathedral and old town from a lovely balcony. Complimentary breakfast included.
Beautiful hotel located in the center of Toledo.. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, and the staff were very nice and always there to help us
Good location next to train station, although rather dated hotel they did do best to keep clean, lots of hot water, towels and great big comfortable bed
