There are culture destinations like museums, famous sport and entertainment hall NOKIA ARENA, amusement park Särkänniemi, for kids there are two indoor fun parks (Hop Lop and Leo Leikkimaa), bars, restaurants, two big shopping centers next to each other in the city center, carting car driving center, wonderful views and jogging places, for summer times Hatanpään arboretum (botanical garden), two big SPA's (Tampereen Kylpylä and Kylpylähotelli Nokian Eden) , downhill skiing center MUSTAVUORI, a few bowling centers with glow bowling and music... A lot of fun things to do!

Tampere is a modern yet quiet city in Finland. A lot of green, museums and activities. There is also a good offer of hotel and restaurants. The city is surrounded by great nature in every direction and a lake nearbye. I would advice this ton to families or to anybody who needs to recharge but prefers cities over the total wilderness. We came to Finland to visit friends who lived not so far, so the distance from Tampere center was not critical. But it's super comfortable to use modern trams, in about 15 minutes it's possible to get to the city center and the stop is in 3 minutes from the apartment. So, location is really good and it's also a very calm place. I've already recommended it to my friends.
