Value for money and soft launch exceeded my expectations. Breakfast and dining experience was absolutely perfect and the pool and beach views will make the official opening amazing and a resort to stay at for sure.

the 2nd largest city in Fiji, quiet and unassuming during the christmas week. The town is only open to a mall and a few shops during public holidays and one is assured of a bright blue sky and sun through out the day.

Not much of a tourist vibe, nice to see the real Fijian side of the island. People very friendly but taxis happy to charge more than they should. A couple days to relax is enough but wouldn't plan the whole holiday around this area, 3 day's of your trip is more than enough.

Landers Bay is set in a very quiet isolated location, a taxi is required to visit anywhere but well worth it. The accommodation was lovely and the beach, bar, restaurants were a minutes walk from our room. A great place to unwind and just relax. We had quite a bit of rain but being warm rain, it did not matter.
We did not visit Lautoka as were happy staying at the resort.

Lautoka is thriving hustling busy town with everything you need. Great clothes shops and the markets are good also.
Not much to see in Lautoka besides the markets and shops. Main attractions are near Nadi but if you want to visit the islands you can depart from Anchorage Resort..

This is a chill factor #9 on my gauge.
This is a chill factor #9 on my gauge. Although, like most places, post Covid and at this price point, the Anchorage Beach Resort is a little run down and scruffy. It is a wonderful place to relax. Only a 25 min drive from NADI. The staff down at the beach restaurant, bar, pool, were wonderful, warm and welcoming. The reception desk staff were not so friendly.

Anchorage needs to improve their Room standards & booking...
Anchorage needs to improve their Room standards & booking efficiency if charging $480+. FAMILY reluctant to visit in future and may try out First Landing, Nila etc or stick to Nadi if not Sapphire Villas - superb.
I really liked having a comfortable and clean space where my whole family could be together, especially since we were travelling with children. We also met some bad traffic and arrived later than planned but our host was understanding and there was tea and coffee available so we could have a sit down together after the long drive from our various stops. We were visiting sick family in Lautoka and the space provided us with a place where we could be close enough to visit and host comfortably but not intrude on their space.
It is a very unique property in a lot of different ways. It is on a private island just off the coast of Lautoka (city and port.) The resort runs a shuttle boat back and forth for guests and staff. The staff could not have been nicer, they treated us like family! Our spacious bure was just a few feet from the beach so we could enjoy the ocean sounds 24/7. Because they were not busy, they were allowing families from town to visit as guests which we enjoyed. It would have been lonely without them.
This was by far our favorite spot during our time in Fiji. The grounds were beautiful, more like a jungle than your typical beachfront stay. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. There were a couple cats and dogs who lived in the area; one cat likes to follow you as you walk back to your room, which we thought was cute! The nicest part was the wonderful staff who were incredibly attentive and knew us by name. We also greatly enjoyed the food and cocktails! Would come again!
The pool was well shaded and there was a nice bar/restaurant 15 minutes walk up the rail tracks that was amazing (great prices and excellent service at The Boatshed. Pictures added to show the tracks and the Boatshed). Day trips offered at reception were decent (including free bus transfers to Lautoka and Nadi for shopping if you wanted) and the spa options were reasonably priced with a good variety. The local fish was delicious.
Breakfast is far much better then other likewise hotels out there. Good range and variety with seasonal fruits and veggies. Dhal soup was awesome. Room was clean and well stocked daily. Staff were friendly and there to assist when needed. Transport available just outside the door and drop off to airport available.
The staff at Anchorage were wonderful, very helpful and helped us organise our days adventures. The bed and pillows were very comfortable as well.
The shuttle bus to Lautoka and Nadi really helped us get around.
I would recommend staying.
Everything, it was nice and secluded but close enough to Nadi or Lautoka, it was better than I had expected and soooo peaceful right on the beach.
Staff were amazing and were exceptional and I have made lifelong friendships with some
The staff were extremely friendly. The Fiji Orchid is a hidden gem which is a bit out of the way and out of the hustle and bustle. We used a rental car but they do offer airport transfers.
Property a little dated but clean, good food and location out of Nadi and short trip to Lautoka The staff casual, friendly and professional which makes your stay that much enjoyable.
Very good cook (the pizza was the best I've enjoyed in years) and very helpful bar manager Joey. The island setting is attractive, while only 5 minutes' boat ride from Lautoka.
The sunset and sunrise, we had a nice walk around the hotel and it was just a natural beauty. We lay in the hammock and enjoyed the peace and the sound of the ocean.
Nice location outside of Nadi. Nice long beach to walk on and walking distance to Vuda Marina restaurant. The on site restaurant was also good. Friendly staff.
Staff were very accommodating, had a couple of problems but they fixed them straight away.
House was in a good position for us to visit family in Lautoka.
