Great location for this beautiful and recently refurbished art nouveau hotel. Paid extra for a sea view and it was worth it. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean and stocked with most essential toiletries. Coffee pods and tea are provided in the rooms, which we appreciated. Access to the beach is perfect. There's also a market outside at the weekend. It's also right in the old town so an easy walk to most restaurants and bars.

Set within an Art-Deco building from the 1930’s, this Mercure hotel is located in the centre of Biarritz, facing the beach. It offers free Wi-Fi. The rooms were renovated in 2017 and are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV with Canal+ channel, a safe, a work desk and a courtesy tray with coffee and tea. They are also serviced by a lift and some rooms have sea views. Mercure Plaza Biarritz Centre provides a daily buffet breakfast, which can be taken in the guest room upon request. There is also a hotel bar open daily and converting into a piano bar on Saturdays and Sundays.
