It was a nice guest house, and I had a single room on the ground floor. There was plenty of time for breakfast and there was a good choice. Guest house is not far from bus stops and lots of shops . Mobin, the owner, was helpful, and I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I came to Edinburgh .

You are promised a warm welcome to this very homely, non-smoking guest house in the heart of Edinburgh. A very select breakfast is served in a bright conservatory dining room, which offers full Scottish Breakfast, porridge, local kippers plus a range of homemade salmon fish cakes, tatties, scones and cheese, onion and potato grills. All rooms have central heating, a TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. There is a pay phone for residents' use and a comfortable residents lounge with TV. Cruachan is only a 10-minute walk from Princes Street. Buses frequently pass the front door, and Edinburgh Castle and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) are just a mile away.
