The friendly and welcoming Gifford House has free on street parking and is about 1.25 miles south of Princes Street and on a main bus route to Edinburgh city centre. Awarded a 4-star Gold Award by Visit Scotland, Gifford House is on the A7, but is quiet and peaceful to the rear. Rear bedrooms enjoy superb views towards Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat. The rooms and compact bathrooms are of a high standard and have free Wi-Fi. Housekeeping is only done on the day of departure. There are many golf courses close to Gifford House, and Holyrood Park is nearby.
