We love to know that our guests enjoy themselves during their stay in Bath. We are a couple who moved to Bath during the pandemic, because we love the perfect blend of city life with the 10 minute walk to the countryside that can be experienced here. We adore this city, for its history, for its people, for its spirit of friendly and honest community open to all.

Property information

Our house is a true Grade II listed Georgian property that has been a guest house and a tavern for centuries. The house was built in 1760, and it's featured in many historic accounts as Belvedere Wine Vaults. All of our rooms have been decorated in unique style by Tina's relentless search for new and unique moods and feelings. Many of our rooms are fortunate to have far reaching views. The Summertime Suite is a separate entry 2 room suite which used to be the owners accommodation before the recent renovations. It features a private little courtyard for a peaceful rest on the bench amongst Alex's chosen assortment of ferns and daisies. We offer a healthy and fresh breakfast on most days, cooked by Tina. Our breakfast ingredients are purchased after the guests pre-order, and we don't have a freezer at the house. All of our rooms feature organic tea choices.

Neighbourhood information

We are located on the corner of Lansdown road and Morford Street. Out location allows for some brilliant views over the city of Bath, and we are within short walk to all the major attractions in the city centre. Across the street from Hill House there is a much beloved Camden Crescent with one of the oldest wisteria plants found in UK. The view from Camden Crescent extends for miles over the city and beyond.
