10 years ago it was decent. They had a pool and a decent menu.
Everything looks dated and it could do with a lick of paint.
Very overpriced compared to what is now available in Accra.

It's very easy to exchange dollars/euros/pounds to the local currency. On average, Accra is not expensive for a capital city. The people are also fun and lively. Great destination. Good hotels too!

Accra is a city with many layers.
Accra is a city with many layers. You need to take time to see all of it and the best advice is to ditch Google and ask the local taxi drivers for what ever you fancy. Be specific and don`t be shocked to find first world restaurants tucked away in obscure run down streets. Stay away from tourist traps as Ghana is expensive as it is and malls charge over and above for things you can have in the city for less.

The sightseeing tours were most enlightening.
The sightseeing tours were most enlightening. Learning about the history of the country and the people was eye opening. It was so much more than what we have been taught in schools and what we see on TV. The people we encountered were very pleasant and welcoming. Visiting the museums and other historic sites was absolutely amazing. The restaurants and the food was delightful. Some of the most beautiful restaurants. As well, Mosques and Churches were always nearby.
I stayed 10 days and visited 5 of the 16 regions. I will return to see and experience more.

Title: Beware of Deceptive Andy at TheLennox in Accra
Title: Beware of Deceptive Andy at TheLennox in Accra
I booked a room at TheLennox in Accra through Booking.com, which was confirmed via email and also over the phone by a person named Andy. However, my experience with Andy quickly revealed him to be a dishonest individual.
Moments after arriving at the hotel, I presented my active booking confirmation to Andy, only to find out that he had sold the room to another guest through Airbnb. Despite providing concrete evidence of my prior reservation, Andy callously claimed that the other guest had paid, and therefore, he had given the room to them instead. This behavior is nothing short of deceitful and impudent.
To make matters worse, Andy also attempted to upsell me to a room that was double the price of my original reservation. It is evident that he was trying to coerce me into paying more for accommodation. This kind of manipulative behavior is unacceptable and further underscores his untrustworthiness.
I want to emphasize the unscrupulous role that Andy played in this situation. He knowingly confirmed my reservation, then tried to push me into a more expensive room while giving away my original booking to someone else for his own gain. It's clear that he is not to be trusted.
I write this review as a deeply disappointed customer to warn others about the risk of encountering someone like Andy at TheLennox. Such unethical and dishonest behavior should not be tolerated in the hospitality industry. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment, as you may also fall victim to Andy's fraudulent actions.
Never again.

Excellent holiday in Accra, i wish i had travelled sooner in...
Excellent holiday in Accra, i wish i had travelled sooner in my life and stayed longer than my 2 weeks vacation.
This is an amazing Country at times it emotional and sad :( but we learnt so much more of the history.
we enjoyed everything we did, from sopping on Oxford Street in Osu, to the hustle and bustle of Makola market, the visits to National Museum of Ghana, Elmina Castle, Cape Coast Castle, most of the Forts, Botanical gardens, eating at the local restaurants, we visited too many places to mention
Just everything about this trip was nice.
In general the staff were very nice and accommodating. Chester, who packed me up from the airport, was exceptionally nice. He appeared to be genuinely interested in me having a positive experience in Ghana. He even touched base with me a couple of times to see how things were going. I had a nice, comfortable studio apartment. I was very pleased about having WiFi. The surroundings were well maintained. I would choose this place if I ever visit Accra again.
Staff was super friendly and very helpful in guiding me and helping me get things I needed but didn't know where to get cause I'm not a local. Room was big and bathroom was big too. The view from our window was really nice, and AC worked well. Room was clean. Mind you, hotels on Accra are not cheap, so this one was good value for money, but by no means luxurious or anything. The location is good if you want to go to bars and restaurants in Osu.
Our room was very spacious. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is located in a residential area close to dining and entertainment. Our room was affordable and comfortable for the extended stay we needed to handle both personal and business. The hotel is ideal if you are looking for an economical and clean place to stay while in Ghana.
This is not my first time here and Nanas let is fast becoming my home away from home. The facility is clean and safe. Geoffrey and the boys are very kind and attentive to the needs of the occupant. The location is perfect for an easy transportation into town. All the basic amenities are present. It has been a perfect place for me every time I’m in Ghana.
Beautiful and tastefully decorated property in a fantastic location. I was already in Accra from London but wanted a change of scenery, and this fit the bill. Mr Taylor was amazing and very helpful. We had a small issue regarding payment which Mr Taylor helped us with.
When I come back to Ghana I would definitely book to stay here again.
Clearly, they must have made an impression on me because this was my second visit. It’s a three star clean boutique hotel. They also have a pool, gym, bar and a restaurant that serves one of the best okra soups. The staff were always helpful & eager to make my stay enjoyable. Not too far from the airport & easy to locate.
Our apartment was on the 4th floor and each bedroom has a walk out sitting area.the weather was good so grabbing chairs to sit out there was really nice .🤗my fiancé is from Ghana so he went and checked it out before I got there. I was really pleased 🥰what ever I needed they were excited about helping me.
A sweet oasis. Friendly efficient staff. Clean, big room and bathroom and good food too. Nice landscaping. Not the cheapest, but it is a place in Accra that locals recommend to their friends when $200usd a night is affordable. Not your typical African budget hotel. Nor is it a $450usd resort.
Very nice hotel, crew were very friendly and always helpful.Sometimes we had issues with wifi, but it was fixed quickly.Loved that little terrace outside, especially during night hours. One more plus is that its located really close to the airport, the hotel even send transfer to pick us)
Breakfast was lovely and the scenery was great. Staff were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect I was a short walk from the main attractions of Ghana in December (night life, restaurants, bars and so on).
Amazing facilities and the owner was brilliant at providing recommendations for me and my friends. Felt very safe and welcome. Best shower I had on my month long visit to ghana. Would highly recommend.
The staff and management are exceedingly warm welcoming and hospitable. They made it a most pleasant home away from home experience. It's a great first life experience of going to Ghana.
Montecito was a lovely spot for my 5 day stay considering it was my first time in Ghana, the staffs especially Francis was very welcoming and reliable. Would always recommend
Douglas Luxury Apartments offered me the best guest experience ever in Ghana, the last 5 years. Great service!
It started with their "Welcome Drink" Great, great idea.
The host was so helpful, respectful and so nice, hardly will u find a host like that.. I'm a Ghanaian traveling with my family and I know what I'm saying lol..
