We had stayed before and noted that there were major renovations to the pool area which had been reconfigured and the tiling was modernised. There was new planting around the pool also. The staff were under new management - George, who was professional and helpful. The food buffet looked superb. We had a great breakfast and late checkout was facilitated. The new windows were triple glazed and despite the proximity of the airport we had a very quiet nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was newly renovated also.

Lovely architecture, clean streets, classy cafes and restaurants. Fairly noisy, but seemed to switch off at midnight which was great. Massive choice and variety of cuisine. Modern, efficient local and island-wide buses. English spoken everywhere, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Highlight - Apothiki for mezzes and fabulous local folk music at the weekend.

So much to see and do and so little time to see it all:
Churches, beaches, ancient sites, museums, The old fortress, the new fortress, watersports, bars, restaurants, coffee houses etc
One can catch ferries to Italy, Kefalonia etc. Scenery is great if it's not raining.
Dining out I would recommend The Tratamento, Filellinon 3,7 Corfu Old Town +30 26610 33267. It is about equidistant between Venetian Well and the Orthodox Cathedral

Beautiful harbour areas between the two fortresses and along the coastal promenade area to the windmill. Lovely squares, parks and attractive Italian-style architecture in the quaint and bustling streets of the old town. A vibrant and interesting town with numerous restaurants, bars and traditional, touristy and modern shops. Great place to explore in is own right and as a centre to tour the island, with good bus services.

Corfu town also has Starbucks and really good restaurants which is not too expensive compared to some of them. I recommend Pan e souvlaki restaurant which is a few minutes walk from the Corfu old town market. You can also find lots of nice dessert places in Corfu town too.

This is a picturesque Venetian town, reminiscent of Dalmatian or Italian coastal towns. There is a great, buzzing atmosphere, with lots of traditional shops, restaurants and cultural places to explore. With all the profits from tourism, I wish the Corfiot council would invest more money into the upkeep of the facades and infrastructure of the island. Also, there is a lot of litter around which could be easily managed if there were signs displayed and more bins provided. Do visit Rose's Vegan Patisserie with the best traditional (yet healthy) sweet treats ever!
excellent and considerate host. Amazing location. Complimentary water on arrival. Excellent facilities. clean and comfortable!
Perfect place to base yourself if visiting Corfu town!
Excellent spots to swim from nearby beach, and 5 minutes walk down some interesting alleys to get to the centre of the town.
Lovely plants and outdoor seating area.
<10 minute brisk walk from the bus stop from the airport.
Extra towels and bedding if needed; everything you could need provided.
The studio is not big but it is typical for Corfu old town, same as the staircase. It is a part of its local charm. The space is perfectly organized so we had everything we needed. The location is great and the host was very kind and helpful, beyond our expectations:) That was our forth time in Corfu town and we liked this choice the most of all. And the best coffee in town is just around the corner (Cafetierra). Hope to be back soon:)
The hotel was close to the city centre but also not too far to reach to the airport. We had just 1 day in Corfu town with a very early flight the next day in the morning, so this hotel was the perfect choice for us. Also was the cheapest we could find in high season. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and we even checked in 4 hours earlier. Next morning they called us a taxi very promptly. The room was clean, beds were comfy.
During my stay in Corfu, this accommodation was the best (I visited four different hotels). I positively appreciate the owner, who was very helpful and hospitable, simply amazing!!!!!! Rooms are spacious and very clean, large balcony, mosquito protection in the plug....
If anyone is thinking about staying in Corfu town, visiting this place is the best choice.
I wish them all the best !!!!!!
From the moment we stepped in the entryway, we were greeted like we were family. Everything about this hotel was superb. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were delightful and the owner and staff were among the best. Our group took up four of the eight rooms and no one was disappointed. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It was a close walk to Old Town, Mon Repos and the airport.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great. And the food was excellent. But the staff was just superlative. I travel all over the world and stay in brand name hotel and they are luxurious. This hotel has charm, elegance and a staff that makes you feel at home. It was a 5 star plus experience.
Located in the middle of corfu town, the house has everything you need and a lot more for your holiday. Diveded in 2 floors, It has a nice balcony, 2 bathrooms, and a new kitchen. It has an incredible quality/price ratio , and the host is ready to help you in any way possible. Surely one of the best structers i have ever been in.
This is the best location to live in Corfu Town, it is the heart of the old town. The apartment is big and has its own small garden with a table and chairs.
The apartment has a big kitchen, a washing machine with liquids in the bathroom; iron and iron board.
Also, the host left us a gift in the fridge-thank you :)
The location, pool areas, food was good. Sun beds were super comfortable. New furniture throughout the hotel was tasteful and good design. Views beautiful. Gardens pretty. Nice walk along the beach. Bus into Corfu town which was easy to navigate at the end of the Hotel driveway. The hotel felt very safe.
The apartment was very clean, very nicely decorated, comfy and beautiful natural light during the day. The location is exceptional, in the center of the town and relatively quieter than other locations in Corfu town. Wifi is exceptional. The hosts are kind and discreet. Everything was perfect
Fantastic hotel with the best towels. The room was perfect with a balcony and the view was amazing. Nice bathroom with toiletries. The staff were very helpful. Fabulous breakfast choices. The WiFi was the best I have encountered on this trip. Great location on the edge of the old town.
The whole set-up is very nice. We stayed in the new building with an apartment somewhat more wheelchair accessible than most on the island. Location to Corfu Town is decent if you have a vehicule.
Exceptional location right in the centre of old Corfu town. Amazing hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Even our Labrador was greeted like a best friend. I cannot recommend highly enough
As one person said, the best worst rated hotel i have stayed at.
It is an old hotel, but it's clean, with all you need and the beds are just amazing.
