Mykonos City, with its winding cobblestone streets and whitewashed buildings, feels like a postcard come to life. It's a vibrant mix of chic boutiques, lively tavernas, and bars that keep the energy pulsing into the early hours. By day, the city is a picturesque scene of serene beauty, with iconic windmills and stunning sea views. As night falls, it transforms into a bustling hotspot, offering an unforgettable nightlife experience. Mykonos City perfectly captures the essence of the Greek island lifestyle, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking both relaxation and adventure. We had an amazing dinner at Nobu Matsuhisha restaurant downtown and enjoyed the amazing sunset at Little Venice. At night we tried many lively bars who remain open until the early morning hours. The place is simply amazing !!! Wow !!!

I visited Mykonos in February (Off season).
I visited Mykonos in February (Off season). It is famous for being a party island and but this time of the year, it was very silent. If you want to avoid crowd and take beautiful pictures without any interruption, this is the best time for you. No shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, clinics were opened in the town. Only 3 restaurants were opened in the whole mykonos town and one among them gave me upset tummy. I strongly suggest to take snacks, medicines etc so that you don't make same mistake I did.

Mykonos was a great Oct/Nov break. 5 days was too many days, we could have done it in 3. We were lucky with weather and managed 2 beach afternoons. Most beaches had closed down, but expected this. We hired a car, but could have done without it, as most sight seeing is in Chora.

Mykonos had lots of variety.
Mykonos had lots of variety. Great beaches, the town was great, Little Venice and plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping. We also enjoyed the outdoor cinema, the buses were also really good running regularly to the beaches. It was expensive but fun. Not too crowded going into 2nd week in October but some beaches were closed or starting to close.
Amazing family run rooms, Sophie, John and Nick were all so lovely and super helpful.
Ask for a transfer, cheaper than taxi and John was there waiting for me when I landed.
Lovely large clean quiet room with patio outside, really comfy bed with gorgeous linens, shower had good pressure and constant hot water, really good WiFi, close to town which is a 5 minute walk away.
Definitely go to Libertys on the top road nearby for fab breakfast, bit pricey but great views from the patio and loads of choice.
Fantastic stay. They offer free transfer to and from the hotel, they stocked the mini fridge daily with bottled water and juice (complementary), and will keep your luggage for you after checkout if you have a later departure.
The room was great and the location is perfect (right next to the bus stop and at the entrance to the main town). There is also a 24 hour mini market right next door. Overall I found the service and stay to be exceptional and really felt like I got my money's worth.
The owner truly made this stay so special. She was so incredibly welcoming and sweet. Provided us with everything we needed. The room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable, and the location is perfect for downtown. Right next to all of the best shops and restaurants but right on the edge of town so it’s still peaceful (right by the windmills). I highly recommend staying here! Also, the owner let me know that this was her family house growing up that she converted into a hotel!
Lovely hotel on the edge of the town centre. A friendly family run hotel and the hosts made us feel very welcome. The room we had had a lovely view looking over Mykonos city and the port. It had a good size balcony, a mini bar and a very comfortable bed. The hotel provides a very good breakfast with lots of cold and hot options. They also will cook you snacks on demand which are reasonably priced and tasty. There is a large pool and we never had problems getting a sun bed.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and have a private pool with ample space to lounge outside. Close to the sea so most rooms have a good view. The hotel is run by a family, who are very welcoming and warm. It close to town but you need a car. We got a good rate on booking.com. Fabulous breakfast. Even though they don’t have an in-house cafe, they allowed us to order lunch in from a place they
recommended. The food was great. Would definitely stay here again.
Our stay at Villa Sharm Hotel in Mykonos was an unforgettable experience! The facilities were top-notch, creating a haven of luxury and relaxation. A special thank you to Mei, whose friendliness and dedication significantly enhanced our experience. Her attentiveness and commitment to our comfort were unparalleled, making us feel exceptionally welcome and valued. We are profoundly grateful for the warm hospitality and look forward to returning in the future!
The property is in the best location possible. Right in front of the most iconic Paraportiani church and newly unearthed ruins of a castle. The hotel is very new with everything brand new, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and Irini (hotel manager/owner) goes above and beyond to ensure that her guests are happy, satisfied, and well attended. The property offers 5 star service which coupled with location and decor make it an excellent choice.
Hotel Madalena is listed as a 3 star hotel but I feel like our family received 5 star treatment. The free shuttle from the port was waiting for us at arrival and the free shuttle to the airport was right on time the next day. Sakis welcomed us warmly at the hotel and my family all found something tasty at the breakfast buffet in the morning. We only had one night but it was a pleasant stay and great location - only a 5 minute walk to town.
Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautiful and perfectly located to walk into town without being too touristy and hectic. The staff were phenomenal and we felt so taken care of, especially at breakfast and by the pool! And our room (number 202) felt like the best possible with a hot tub looking out at the sea and sunset. An unbelievably magical anniversary trip and we would love to come back!
Hotel works with a travel agency on Booking.com, and they provide an excellent pickup/drop off service. Hotel location is superb, close to all the happening corners in town, within 5min walk of main bus station, yet not a single sound to disturb a nights sleep. Very clean, warm water& good pressure in shower, all amenities provided. Couldn't be more satisfied with this stay. Would stay again.
From the moment I arrived, I knew I would love it. Felt like a family run hotel with very kind people, amazing view of the sea and Mykonos town. I stayed in one of their budget rooms, and I didn’t feel anything was missing. 10-15 walking distance from Mykonos town, loved the terraces and the swimming pool. Breakfast included, with everything you would expect. I would definitely recommend it.
I stayed here on the recommendation of a friend, and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it was the perfect stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern with a charming ‘Mykonos feel’. It’s in a perfect location, perched just above the town, with views of the Aegean, yet only a 5 minutes walk from the town centre. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Best of all the staff we friendly and helpful.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Staff were exceptional and really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We had a complimentary upgrade upon arrival to a sea view suite. Breakfast options and quality of food was beyond anything we could've imagined. 5 minute walk from Ornos beach and 10 minute drive into Mykonos old town.
It was located close to mykonos town and walking to town was less than 10 min. Marina the host was very helpful and friendly and provided guidance. We like the fact that the hotel was close to Port and free shuttle was provided. Best value for the cost and the view was amazing.
This was one of the best experiences we have had at any lhotel. Amazing rooms, beautiful view, extremely clean. George and his family were so family friendly and comforting they made us feel like family. 10/10 recommend staying here if you are in Mykonos.
Great hotel in the Center of Mykonos, nice boutique feel with only an handful of chic rooms. It probably has one of the best locations for both old town and taking a taxi to go to all beach clubs. Service was very good, very attentive
Marina delivered the best customer service in Greece for us. I would always recommend my friends and family to stay in this property. I want to go back! Amazing view from the sunset and the old town, easy to go anywhere walking.
The facilities are extraordinary. The attention of the staff is superb. The Location is excellent. An excellent luxurious hotel blocks away from the main town. When visiting Mykonos, you must stay at this hotel!!
Everything was over charged. The town services was half cheaper than the services in the hotel . The pool had no towels and had to use our own. Some of the staff made us feel unwelcome
