We absolutely loved our place, the managers were very accommodating and the Villa was gorgeous. The pool was very clean and refreshing, we were in it all day everyday. My husband had an accident and needed stitches and Nigel our boat driver went above and beyond to help us get him medical assistance. We’ll be back for sure

Even though this is mostly a diving destination, it would still be perfect for relaxation and beach time. Two of our favorite restaurants were Sandy Buns Bakery and Pura Vita. Sandy Buns had the best breakfasts. We had dinner at Pura Vita five times. Most of the island food is deep fried, but Pura Vita is all fresh. The ceviche was the finest we have ever had. Book a tour of the island, go through the mangrove trees, skip the sloth and monkey park. Take US cash since it is accepted everywhere. Many places put a surcharge on using a credit card. Cabs or water taxi will get you anywhere you need to go on the island. Stick to the west end for the best beaches.

Beautiful beaches, snorkeling and diving.
Beautiful beaches, snorkeling and diving. Locals are friendly and helpful. West Bay Beach is laid back and upscale, West End is perfect for party/young people. Great place for families or couples. A real mix of restaurants and resorts to fit any budget. Love it here!

Spent two days in Roatan, staying in West End which is a great area. West Bay beach was also nice since there were no cruise ships that day. Would have liked to spend more time snorkelling and exploring other parts of the island which have more local Caribbean culture.

I hate to write reviews because I'm selfish and like my favorite spots to stay hidden but Roatan is just too good to keep a secret. If you're laid back and love the ocean, and you're looking for good local food and friendly people for your next vacation, come here. Careful though - you may never leave.
Great, unique place directly on the beach. U have a good, peaceful and relaxed stay, jump from the trailer directly into the water. Only 3 minutes walk u have all the bars and restaurants starting of West end. The place is nice and tidy and the employees are friendly and helpful. The hosts take care of u and organize for u everything and give helpful information about island, where to go. Definitely a recommendation to stay for a wonderful experience in Roatan island.
I was so lucky to find this incredible booking on Roatan. Roger and his family were so welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. They made me feel like I was really part of the family! Always making sure I had everything I need, giving me great recommendations on food/drink, taking me to and from West End/West Bay and more! Don’t hesitate to book this place, it truly is your home away from home! Thank you for everything Roger!
We enjoyed our stay at the Camp Bay Lodge very much. The entire staff made us feel welcome without being too pushy. Our room was so cozy and relaxing, and was beautifully constructed. The property is awesome - comfortable, built into the beach, but without the overbuilt resort vibe. Every meal and drink we had was great, and we left wishing we didn't have to. We'll definitely return here if we make it back to Roatan.
Ibagari was truly the cherry on top of our 3 week stay in Roatan. I have never been more impressed with a hotel and all of their amenities. All the staff (hotel and dining) were truly amazing people and I can't wait to return!!
From the sunset cheers to our own private hot tub, this place was a little bit of heaven in a tumultuous time. So much thanks to so many people for making me so happy. You are all amazing!!!
Roger was incredibly accommodating - picking me up from the airport, dropping me off at West Bay for the day, providing perfect food/drink recommendations and dropping me for the Utila ferry. His wife and daughter are so sweet and I really felt part of their home. Perfect stopover if, like me, you are stopping at Roatan either before or after Utila.
The best hotel I have stayed at and I have travelled the whole world.
Clean, comfortable and superb hosts.
I loved this place as it has personality and you feel at ease as soon as you walk in.
Tracy and Dustin are able to arrange any excusion and car hire.
Lovely hosts. Great breakfast, wonderful homely feel.
I cannot recommend them enough.
This is an amazing place on a dreamy stretch of beach. The unit had everything we needed, including beach towels, an expresso machine, a speaker, and hammocks. It was as tranquil as can be, yet it was an easy walk to restaurants, etc.
Walk barefoot in the sand from your room to the beach! Friendly staff, hats off to Rodrigo and the excellent food. Our first time in Roatan, it is a great mix of friendly locales, interesting history and amazing water.
Perfect location for a west end stay. Just by the beach with dive center next to and a restaurent with hotel discount. Big rooms with a nice atmosphere. The staff was helpful with arranging tours and transport.
Good stop in Roátan for AirBNB shared property. Always fun meeting owners and guests who are nice. Good breakfast and pool area to relax. Sunrise and sunsets pictures opportunities to share.
very friendly staff, steps to the beach of lovely Half Moon Bay, rustic and attractive property, on the quieter end of West End and walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, stores etc.
