I went for work so I don't know about tourist attractions, but the food was great and the people were very friendly. I rented a car and it was fine driving, as long as you are used to driving in cities in developing countries. Not as bad as many places. I would like to go explore outside the city next time.

an interesting city, especially in the oldest part of town.

an interesting city, especially in the oldest part of town. Great Spanish colonial architecture. Easy to walk around. Safe enough. Museums closed when I went, which was disappointing. It’s very hilly! Also, it’s 1000 m above sea level,so if you’re not used to altitude, as I’m not, take a day or more to acclimatise

It has a bad reputation, and I was nervous about going there. But, the airport is conveniently located in the middle of the city, and there are buses on the street directly in front of it. Once I arrived near the hostel, it was in a safe neighborhood.

    Beautiful sites.

Beautiful sites. Centrally located, rent a car or taxi tours , many things to see and do. You will recognize several American restaurants and brands. We had an amazing trip from the National parks, Lake Yoja, and the beach on both sides of the country.

I stayed for two days in a work trip, the city has few sightseeing places and local people told me it is a little dangerous to walk the street passed 6:00pm. Night life in the city was nice I visited a coupule of bars and a food truck zone near the UNAH (National University). The local beers are something worth to try.

This place is extremely secure and has a beautiful little garden. There aren't many tourists in Tegucigalpa, so its not a social environment for meeting people. There are 20+ beds in one room, but only 2 other guests while I was staying. Had the property been full I imagine there would be so much coming and going and the one bathroom would be difficult to share, but with few guests I had a LOT of space to myself with a good wifi connection in a very safe neighborhood near embassies and governmental buildings.

I really liked how clean the room and bathroom were, and just how peaceful and lovely the general aura of the place feels. I appreciated the warm welcome I received by the staff when I checked in, and I really liked the fact that they sprayed all of our suitcases to keep everyone, including ourselves, safe. My family and I had a really good experience staying here. Would definitely recommend it!

Honestly, my very best impression at this hotel is the hotel staff, from the front desk personnel to the security personnel, all of them are great! The ones attending the breakfast buffet and the housekeepers are awesome. Hotel is clean and quiet, very nice place to stay. If I ever come back to Tegucigalpa, I honestly will come back to this hotel.

The hotel staff booked two taxis for us, and it was OK. They also had laundry service, which was pricy but fine. The room was just fine, with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is in a residential and quite area. Good breakfast.
