La Ceiba is not really somewhere to stay for too long as it's really just a port town that you stay before going to the islands. It's got plenty of shops and restaurants to eat and see but generally, it's just another city that will fall into the back of your mind once you've left.

The food was great. Kayaking was fantastic.
The food was great. Kayaking was fantastic. Las Hamacus hotel and Apart Pico Bonito hotel were both great places to stay. I would not recommend staying at the Omega Eco Jungle Tours Resort. The hospitality was terrible and the pool did not work.
I ordered a pizza as I was travelling solo and didn’t want to walk around at night. It never arrived. The man on reception called the pizza place for me and sorted it out. It ended up not coming so he offered to walk me to the local fast food place so I could eat. This was after his shift was over. He walked with me, waited and then walked me back. Above and beyond. I really appreciated this. Room was clean and tidy. Everything worked. Decent breakfast included and felt safe at the hotel.
Walter was amazing and helped us whenever we needed it. He picked us up from La Ceiba for 400L, booked rafting, answered our questions and was very kind and friendly.
Pepe was a great host and welcoming us into his hotel.
The location is beautiful, stunning mountain views, lovely pool, kitchen to use, beer to buy, comfy beds, good wifi, warm showers, amazing rafting tour. Stay for as long as possible!
Great hotel if going/coming to the islands. You can leave the car parked there while you are away and feel safe. Another big plus, free shuttle from hotel-ferry-hotel.
Rooms are clean, tidy and confortable altho I will suggested an inside room if you wake up easily.
Everyone at the reception, and dinner welcomed us with a smile, and were very kind
As the owner tell you as soon as you arrive, you definitely feel at home at this hotel! Very clean rooms, beautiful decoration, nice terrace with hammocks, pleasant garden, excellent breakfast and dinner. The owners are also very friendly and answer any question you would have!
The property is on the beach and the view was amazing. I was there for almost a month, so it was a very good value. My hosts, Eduardo and Melissa, went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. My room was basic, but it did have a small refrigerator.
Clean, safe, inviting, great location in La Ceiba.
Efraim the owner went above and beyond to help me arrange a trip to la Moskitia, not an easy feat. I got lucky as he sat with me for 30 minutes calling various people.
Superb hotel very close to the ferry terminal for Roatan.

The free shuttle to the ferry port was an added bonus.
