The location was great, amazing views, the room was really comfortable and roomy. The included breakfasts were nice and good variety. The staff at Tequila Jacks were fantastic and the food was really good there. Bed was very comfortable. The road to the hotel that some people claimed was terrible was really not that bad. Just use your phones flashlight if you need.

We loved the beautiful, chill, spacious property - featuring hotel, cabanas, outdoor covered dining (breakfasts/lunches) and pool area and snorkeling off the shore. We are divers and the smart, professional and attentive dive master and crew took us to great new locations everyday. Short walk into town gave us quiet place with ez access to all best restaurants in Roatan. Folks in charge of this hotel organized pick up from ferry and to airport- all staff we met are kind professional and lovely. While this was our first time - we met so many folks who stay here annually - and it’s easy to see why. We will be back. Wowza!!

Even though this is mostly a diving destination, it would still be perfect for relaxation and beach time. Two of our favorite restaurants were Sandy Buns Bakery and Pura Vita. Sandy Buns had the best breakfasts. We had dinner at Pura Vita five times. Most of the island food is deep fried, but Pura Vita is all fresh. The ceviche was the finest we have ever had. Book a tour of the island, go through the mangrove trees, skip the sloth and monkey park. Take US cash since it is accepted everywhere. Many places put a surcharge on using a credit card. Cabs or water taxi will get you anywhere you need to go on the island. Stick to the west end for the best beaches.RichardUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Spent two days in Roatan, staying in West End which is a great area. West Bay beach was also nice since there were no cruise ships that day. I hate to write reviews because I'm selfish and like my favorite spots to stay hidden but Roatan is just too good to keep a secret. If you're laid back and love the ocean, and you're looking for good local food and friendly people for your next vacation, come here. The best part was the views and the pool. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! the pool was clean and it’s bigger than what it looks in the pictures. There’s a nice restaurant walking distance called the Hideout, perfect for dinner, great food and atmosphere. West Bay and West End were a short drive.
