We stayed at Centar Guesthouse for one night to explore the Festival of Lights. The location was perfect, as the old town is just a five minute walk away, and some of the exhibitions were right around the corner in various nearby parks. The next day we took a short stroll through the botanical garden, which is also very close by. Although there is no private parking, you can leave your car at various parking garages nearby, just be sure to check the price first. Also nearby you can find some cafés and small shops. The room itself was fairly basic, although it did offer everything that was advertised and the small kitchenette would've also allowed us to cook a small meal. The area itself was fairly calm at night despite the central location. Checking in and out was simple and communication with our host Dinko was smooth.

Centar Guesthouse is situated in the very heart of Zagreb, just a few steps away from the Main Square and all historic and tourist sites. Rooms are air-conditioned and feature free Wi-Fi. All rooms are fitted with a cable TV, a desk and chair and a kettle. Private bathroom provides a shower. Linen and towels are also provided, while luggage storage is available for all guests. Nearest restaurant is 50 metres away, while numerous other restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes can be found just a couple of steps away. Grocery stores and bakeries can also be found all around Centar Guesthouse. The Main Square and the Zagreb Cathedral are 800 metres away. The shopping street Ilica starts 800 metres from the property, while the historic Upper Town can be reached in 1 km. The Main Train Station is 900 metres away, while the Bus Station can be reached in 2 km. Zagreb Airport is 30 km away.
