Brilliant city, we only had a few days and wished we had longer. I’d say you need a car to get around but because we didn’t need to use public transport I can’t really comment on how good it is.
Loads to see and do, went with a young family and they loved the sea organs!

Zadar is such a gem, I cannot recommend this city enough.
Zadar is such a gem, I cannot recommend this city enough. I visited in early April and the weather was fantastic but there were not many tourists so that was a positive. All shopkeepers, waiters, and people in hospitality/tourism I spoke with were all so friendly. Prices are also very affordable and there is so much history to experience.

Zadar is an ancient city interesting for all kinds of tourists during the whole year. It offers beautiful historical spots in the old town and beautiful beaches nearby. I recommend Bruschetta restaurant for a wonderful meal ( fish or meat). The most beautiful sunset is always in Zadar!

Zadar is a beautiful city.
Zadar is a beautiful city. There is so much to see and enjoy. Sunsets were breathtaking. So many lovely cafes, bars & restaurants & all very reasonably priced.
The apartment was perfect, spacious and very well equipped. For anyone who wants to self cater, there is a more than an adequate supply of pots, pans, crockery and other cooking & serving utensils. Furnishings are very comfortable.
The apartment is a 15-20 minute walk from the Old Town. I found it to be a safe & easy walk. It was nice, after a day sightseeing, to return to a quiet residential area. A bit like a home away from home.
The owners were there to greet me when I arrived and they were very welcoming and helpful.
I would be very happy to return to Stunning apartment and to recommend it to family & friends.
We loved here. During our trip here was our best location. We felt like at home. Our host was so welcoming, she made our stay definitely a 5 star experience. The complimentary treats when we arrived were really nice. The room was very peaceful. There were 2 balconies. Also a nice couch to relax and read books. We cannot enjoy more and we visited here one more time also on our way back. So we could play with Lea ( the doggy) and the cat. If u come to Zadar and feel like at home don’t search for another place.
We very much enjoyed our visit to Zadar and Hotel Nico. The location was great and we enjoyed walking across the street to the beach. We also walked to Old Town. We very much enjoyed our included breakfast. It was delicious with ample variety. The parking was very convenient right in front of the hotel. Our room was very nice and had a nice view of the Sea. The staff was excellent ... very friendly and helpful! Whenever we visit Zadar again, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Nico.
Famly run business. Well appointed kitchen.Residental locality with close bus stop into Zadar old town. 2 supermarkets and local bars and vegetable market, 3 minutes walk away. Free Air conditioning. 15 minute easy walk via shortcut into Zadar.
Free wifey.
Ivan was very helpful with things to do. Airport transfer about €30 (£25) cheapest around. Only larger shops and restaurants take card payments,so take some local currency.
Enjoyable 2 week stay.
Great location and value for a short stay in Zadar. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Nada, one of the hosts, was so sweet and suggested a great local place for our first meal in Croatia. It was incredibly convenient to have free parking so close to the city center as well, and though parking isn't guaranteed here, the hosts were nice enough to reserve a spot for us when we arrived (once we moved the car, we were on our own).
The people who are working within this hotel are very friendly and helpful. We could park our two motorbikes within a garage which is locked. Behind the hotel is a big swimming pool. There is also free Wifi and we had a wonderful breakfast in the morning.
If you want to go to the "Zadar Old Town" you have to take a cab (around 15min driving), which is not expensive, around 5-8 euro. The whole room and bathroom where clean.
Location was amazing. We rented a car and they were able to accommodate us with parking for a small fee. Room was large very comfortable. Staff was very nice! Hotel was beautiful with a cute garden dinner drink area. 100 percent recommend. Had everything we needed and very close to the sea organ and zadar old town very walkable so essentially close to everything
The apartment was disappointing as it’s far below the 4 star rating it claims . However, its owners also own Tinel Restaurant in downtown Zadar where we enjoyed one of the nicest dinners in Croatia. The staff at Tinel restaurant (Boris and Nicolas) are wonderful and made us
feel very welcome. highly recommend the restaurant, not the apartment.
Lovely apartment with pool view - very spacious and immaculately clean. Very lovely and helpful owners - would recommend apartment 8. 10 minutes walk to the little boat to the old town or 20 minutes without the boat. Some nice places for coffee close by. Swimming in the sea 10 minutes away. We loved it thank you - and we loved Zadar too.
Fabulous apartment with pool, close to a couple of cafe bars and Tommy's supermarket. Bus stop 2 minute walk to get into Zadar cost €1.60 per journey or approximately €9 with uber. Beach front very close and is a nice walk which ever direction you go. Jasmina is a fabulous host and on hand to advise you with anything.
First thing, it was closer to Old town and also our Host Anita was very cool , helpful. She helped us with the Map of Zadar to explore the places nearby and also made a cake for us as housewarming gift. The apartment was clean, airy and comfy in my opinion. I recommend this apartment to others as well in future.
Super location for the old town of Zadar, everything in walking distance, seaside and restaurants, owner very friendly! Kitchen and bathroom all new, wouldn't hesitate booking this place. (4th floor, no elevator in the building though, not a problem for us but maybe for others)
Such nice small boutique hotel, only four rooms. We had the top floor room with a terrace overlooking the city and partly sea view. Location was amazing in Zadar Old Town. Cute decorations, and near and clean rooms and bathrooms
Great location especially for the money. Right in the heart of old town and also has the cheapest bar in Zadar, at least from the ones we went to. 4€ cocktails all day. Everything was clean, not like how the other reviews say.
It was all perfect: Ana, the owner, is super nice,
and the apartment great. It is like a 5 star hotel.
It is super new, super clean, super complete and
located in the heart of the old town.
100% recommended ! Tks Ana!
It is located in the Old Town of Zadar, close to one of the main entrances 10 min. away from a free parking space and close to everything since is located right in the center!
If you have a car nice location nice hotel good restaurant and friendly stuff . Park near the walking bridge and walk from there to the old town Zadar center
Very well explained check in process, good room with everything and needed and right in the centre of old town Zadar! Beds were actually quite comfy as well.
