Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit. Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park. We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

We were in Ireland for 20 days so we wanted a variety of experiences. We chose this location because it gave us a chance to be alone for a while. No hotels, or B&Bs. It was a great place to recharge the batteries. Nearby places in Kenmare to buy food so it was easy making meals. Very quiet and peaceful location. Outstanding views. There is a golf course close by, but don't recall if it's open to non-members. Just off the Ring of Kerry with easy access to the ring.

Eileen is a wonderful hostess. Welcome is second to none..lovely tray of tea and biscuits on arrival. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Excellent WiFi.Beautiful garden to sit out in and a lovely comfortable lounge for guests as an alternative,Eileen has plenty of local knowledge of the area and facilities so she is very good to give pointers. The breakfast is 5 stars including fresh fruit salad and she even offered us a lift in her car to Kenmare Town for dinner.

The Park Hotel is a fantastic retreat for a short getaway with delicious food, a relaxing spa, piano lounge, golf, and beautiful walks around the grounds of this historic hotel. A special mention for the staff who were courteous and friendly but never overwhelming. Free tea and carrot cake in the afternoon, exactly the tonic after a long walk. We also had a free electric charge point at our disposal, so the little things really do help!

The property is excellent and the high standard of the interior was a lovely surprise, it’s well laid out with really comfortable beds and lots of storage. The staff were very helpful and the wine, chocolates and milk and tea were a really nice touch. I’d highly recommend staying here. Sheen Falls hotel is across the road and offers fabulous dining. Kenmare is a short walk away and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Charming converted barn on working farm. Views to die for, you won't stop staring out the window: sheep grazing, green pastures, blue lake, grey mountains and lots of sky. Cleverly designed recently constructed unit in post-card worthy stone building. Tastefully designed. Essentially a mini-home. Very short drive (2km) into charming town of Kenmare. Simple and anonymous checkin/checkout.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The pig theme added a lot of character. The staff was lovely, they gave us tips for our wider road trip along the 'Ring of Kerry'. Breakfast was personalised, delicious, and served at our time of choosing! Totally can recommend this guest house on your visit in Kerry County!

We received a lovely welcome to this typical Irish farmhouse, which is in a wonderful location, just a short walk from Kenmare town centre. The shower was excellent, bed comfortable, and the breakfast was exactly what we needed before a day of exploring. It was a very laid-back place to stay and we'd highly recommend it.
