It is a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre.Their are buses running past the house which will bring you straight into the city centre and plenty of taxi services if needed. There are two grocery shops and a cafe just across the street with supermarkets such as Tesco and Aldi nearby.The 404 Bus Eireann route runs from just outside the door, straight into Eyre Square. Train and Bus Station within the city centre is beside the stop for the 404. The walk to the city is scenic as you will get to see the Cathedral and the grounds of the University which is a beautiful area in Galway.
