Ashvem is a beautiful beach located in North Goa, India.
Ashvem is a beautiful beach located in North Goa, India. It is a quieter and more laid-back alternative to the more popular beaches in the area, such as Calangute and Baga. Ashvem is known for its golden sand, clear waters, and swaying palm trees. It is also a great place for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.

The MERCURE Old Goa Retreat was beautiful, on an island, no noise, no horns blaring, no motorbikes, property uses golf carts, pool is terrific, grounds are beautiful, my room was exquisitely finished, buffet dinner was great, SPA Massage and steam excellent.
Hated Baga, dirty, noisey, crowded, crasse, will never return to Baga or Calangute

History has made this a very special place.
History has made this a very special place. The churches remain, but the city in which they were located is gone. The churches are well-maintained and there is information about them. Busses from Panaji are frequent, but ask at the bus station because it's easy to end up on the wrong bus there. Short taxi ride from Karmali station.
I was in this hotel since 15 to 20 Nov. 21 for my family trip. Hotel location is prime i.e. very near to market place & Mapusa bus stand. So that we can get easily buses, cars, autos for going beaches. I enjoyed my trip. I am regularly coming to Mapusa for my company's work. Now I knew this hotel through booking.com. In future, I book this hotel whenever come to Mapusa for my company's work.
One of my absolute favourite places on our trip! The centre has an amazing atmosphere and feels like a complete hideaway from the world. Everyone was very helpful and made us feel welcome. We only stayed in the centre as a hotel, but will definitely consider going back for a longer time as part of a retreat.
