A beautiful relatively quiet Goa beach, so far. That may change as Mopa airport gains more air services. Lovely white sands, good selection of shacks walkable on south end of arambol beach. I love this beach.

Mandrem is lovely and quieter than other parts of Goa.
Mandrem is lovely and quieter than other parts of Goa. As with most of the beaches, the beach chairs are quite far back from the water due to the tide coming up so far.
It's a lovely place and would definitely visit again!

Beach was fabulous, yoga classes on the beach, good choice of restaurants, plenty of tourist shops and also supermarkets, money exchanges, taxis, etc. Quite a hippy vibe, mix of families with young children, a lot of young people and also older generation.

Ashvem beach is a wonderful expanse of white sand - perfect for sunbathing, swimming and learning to surf (small breakers). There are numerous beach front bars and restaurants, but they are quite expensive compared to other locations in Goa (particularly South Goa) and most pump out music that is too loud to have a conversation over dinner.
The area is definately trading on it's popularity as a Yoga destination and has become both much less laid back and relaxed since the pandemic and is becoming dominated by Russians. One to give a miss and seek out a less up tight, over priced, cosmopolitan area - plenty exist in Goa.

The property is very good to excellent
The property is very good to excellent
The management team is lifeless.
They don't seen to have the passion for providing a delightful experience to the visitors.
Requests made by customers have to be followed up repeatedly to get the services asked for and committed by the resort at the time of booking.
All that they are bothered is to swipe the card and take the full payment in the beginning itself.
Maybe this is the reason they are not bothered afterwards.
They need to be professionals!!!
Room service requests have to be attended promptly and not by repeated follow ups !!!
Phone calls made to reception ,room service etc are seldom answered unless you try hard many times!!!
If nit anything atleast a warm send off will be well appreciated!!!
Most important is committed room should be provided because we have paid for it and the property is dar too expensive for the type of room given ti us!!
The saving grace is that the property is good and located well by the beach!!
I am giving an elaborate review so that future visitors can make an informed choice while booking itself!!!
On location, Riva Beach Resort can't be faulted. It's bang on the beach in Mandrem. And with just a short walk across a wooden-boarded bridge over a steaming stream, one can access the sea.
There were some friendly staff members I came across; the helpful girl at the b'fast brunch (a tad insistent I give her a good review on google), or the Sunil, the housekeeping bloke, who shared some good touristy ideas we could take up.
And that's where the joy of this resort ends.
Absolutely fantastic resort bang right on beach with high level of service, super clean property and fully maintained every point of resort, restaurant right on beach with nice sunset view, good breakfast, fresh juices, fresh made food.
Staff it's seaparate point of that resort, can manage any question from first request, it's so rare - high trained and very friendly
Hightly recoommend and will back to Mamagoa next time
La vera boutique hotel is a very nice hotel to spend time with family and friends. Cost wise it's very economical. Staffs are very helpful and enthusiastic. Always ready to provide service at your call. Only minus point would be the breakfast options and quality. Breakfast had only 3 options and that too were not upto the mark. Otherwise this hotel is a perfect place to stay. It's located near to many prime beaches.
The pool area is lovely. It's a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful views from the first and second row of the huts. Great for relaxing. Not too busy. Restaurant serving great meals even if a bit more expensive compared to some other places. Good service. Yoga in the morning at a cost of 500 rupees.
The wooden chalet was clean and tidy. The staff is nice and friendly. Prawn Rawa Fry was very tasty. The market is nearby for you to get any basic stuff that you may need. Also, people are generally helpful around this area. It's close to the Ashwem and Mandrem beach. Ashwem is a 30 min walk/12 min ride from this resort.
It was an excellent stay, i enjoyed my vacation. the staff and the host were awesome and very helpful all the demands made were fulfilled within time very spacious rooms and every facilities were there. would recommend everyone to have a stay if they are looking for stay near mandrem or ashwem.
I really loved staying at this place. The environment is really very peaceful and comforting. The staff are really very kind and approachable. I loved the amazing breakfast.
This place is highly recommended in Goa. As of now it's the best place I've visited.
Despite challenges, like the landslide in the Goa Border when we arrived, a terribly late check in etc, the staff was beyond courteous, ensured we had food planned upon arrival and catered carefully to ensure our stay was perfect. A big kudos to the team !
First of all, I have felt in a environment as a family with Erika and Salvador. It is so clean and taken well care.I really enjoy yoga shala.it is the beauty of simplicity. I have my home in Goa. Thanks for everything
Pleasant location, mellow vibe, facilities remain in good shape and restaurant stills prepares a wide variety of yummy meals. Good value for this corner of Goa. I would recommend and stay again.
