The quality of rooms available, food we had and the pool facilities were very good. Unexpected bonuses were the availability of Table Tennis and fans in the washroom, the latter will really help during summers. All rooms were unique with their own charm and very sturdy quality. The host Dhananjay was courtesous polite and a pleasure to work with.

Sajjan-Niwas, is a boutique home stay built in colonial-style architecture. It is situated in a peaceful neighborhood of Shikarbadi. Shikarbadi is surrounded by nature, small woods, Aravali hills and near us is the Gorverdhan Sagar (Lake). Our terrace lets the guests enjoy scenic lake views and beautiful sunrises. The property lets you get away with hustle and bustle of the city but you are still in close proximity to all major attractions. Our beautifully crafted home is embedded with a pool, wide terrace and play area with table tennis. All rooms and common areas are decorated with modern paintings making the place captivating. Our homestay is a delight for guests that love plants and flowers as we have tons of them. The blend of luxury and comfort at our property makes it perfect space for your vacation with family and friends. We have a restaurant that serves fresh and delicious meals. We are just 3 kms away from Railways Station, 3.5 kms from Bus station & 30 KM from Airport.
We as a family manage and run this homestay and are committed to serve our guests with utmost love and care. The architecture of the place was my fathers idea. He spent few years of his childhood in a British bungalow so he always wanted to live in a house like that when he grew up. This became the inspiration behind choosing the colonial style of architecture. He has been a Tour Manager, leading foreign tourists from last 30 years and has travelled the length and breath of the country several times. He has a deep interest in sharing his travel stories and experiences. He surely is the best person to ask anything about the history and places of interest in Udaipur and Rajasthan . I have also been a tour leader for the last seven years and have a deep passion for travelling, meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I have my own list of favorite places that I love to share with our guests.
The neighborhood of Shikarbadi is a very quiet, peaceful and serene place. You can enjoy picturesque views of mountains, lakes and forests. It is one of the best places in Udaipur to live amongst the wild and still be nearby all the major attractions.
