Centrally located in the beautiful Ortega. No problem checking in. The B&B was open and I phoned then to get the key to our room. Nice large room with balcony onto the interesting street, quiet. We had breakfast served in our room.

Residence Acropoli is the most convenient answer to the question of tourists who wish to stay in Syracuse in an accommodation of a four stars hotel but much cheaper. The Residence is located in the historic center of the city, the beautiful Island of Ortigia, N° 15 of Via Roma, connects the Archimede square to the famous Duomo’s square. Despite being located in a central and very transited area, the Residence offers absolute peace and total silence to its guests, who are accommodated in a mid-nineteenthcentury renovated Palazzo. The walls are over a meter wide. Also all the fixtures are with windows with very thick glasses and noiseless procedures, contribute to ensuring total silence to the rooms and the common areas.Just look at the Acropolis site to understand how high is the level of comfort and decor of the rooms whose airspace and spaciousness is unequaled in Syracuse.The residence has two fully equipped kitchens with two refrigerator, oven and microwave.These facilities can be used by guests, especially families with children, A full breakfast, included in the rooms price, is served in thein the equipped dining rooms or on the tarraces.
In Via Roma where Acropolis is located, are present shops, taverns, restaurants, tipical restaurants that offer local products, attract the curiosity and interest of tourists. And then there is Ortigia, its beauty, the sea, the millennial history of Syracuse, and all around, the monuments of its immense civilization
