    Great experience.

Great experience. Town small enough to walk easily to interesting sites. Lovely old town. Close to Pompeii and Amalfi without being a major tourist hub. Staff of Burger at greated us on the street the next day. Great personal service. The Grand Hotel was excellent. Great location near the train station and friendly helpfull staff.

1 day in Salerno was too long.

1 day in Salerno was too long. There were a lot of homeless and sketchy people. It was like the Newark of Italy...filthy. It didn't even feel like we were in Italy until we got to the old part of town. But, we didn't feel safe here either.

A beautiful town with lots of attractions, cafes and restaurants especially in the city centre. Recommended to be visited during the Holiday Season because of the famous Christmas lighting throughout the whole city

Salerno is a great location for shopping, sightseeing.

Salerno is a great location for shopping, sightseeing. Easy travel to Pompei, Herculaneum by bus or train. The harbour trips give access to Amalfi (a great town but it has many hills), you can take a day trip to Capri, Positano by boat as they run regularly. Salerno has many good shops, bars, restaurants and the Old Town is worth going to see.

I found Salerno Prestige and it was the best thing that happened to me and made my stay in Italy better than anticipated. I plan to return in January and will book my stay once I've scheduled my flight!

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. We were so amazed once we opened the door because we could see the panorama of Salerno. We were able to use the beautiful terrace and just relax watching the views. The owner was so sweet. She made a delicious breakfast! We wish we were able to speak Italian so that we could have more conversations with her. Salerno is just a beautiful local town but this hotel definitely made our Salerno trip much much better. I highly recommend it!!

I had a fantastic stay at the accommodation in Salerno. The host was awesome and helpful, and gave me great tips to visit the best places in Salerno. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to see and do. The room was super luxury and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. I felt like I was in a five-star hotel. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Salerno. Thank you for the amazing experience!

We go to Salerno at least a couple times of year when visiting with my cousins who live in a nearby town. We have often admired THE CRESCENT since it opened last year and decided we'd stay there on our next trip. When we found a site on Booking we decided to try it. I spent 4 years rating hotels and restaurants so perhaps, while my review might be very critical, it is accurate. Know the facts before deciding to book.

Contemporary hotel with clean large rooms ,comfortable beds and given the central location very quiet , staff were welcoming ,attentive and helpful small items such as the coffee and sweet bowl at reception added a more personal touch and the included breakfast was enjoyable with both italian and "western" tastes catered for , overall a hotel well worth consideration for any length of stay in Salerno

We absolutely loved Salerno! The accommodation was ideally located to catch trains, taxis, the ferry as well as to access one of the main shopping and eating districts. We were delighted to take part in the nightly passegiata, found our favorite place for cappuccino and cornetto each morning. This lovely town is a place I would go back to, and the communication for accessing the unit was very good.

Great place, felt more like a hotel! The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and it was nice and clean. The people running it was also very nice and gave me a lot of info about things to do in the area and also good places to eat. Only stayed for a night, but if I’m going back to Salerno I will definitely check if they have a room available!

The ideal place to spend your days in Salerno and the surrounding places since it is not far from the train station. We will repeat for sure. Many thanks to the host!

A perfect location in Salerno. Bus stop across the street, hotel across from the sea. Care clearly taken in the rooms with huge posters of classic art and attention to detail. The rooms were large, kitchen was complete and coffee, tea, oil was provided. Anna, at the front desk was very helpful.

Very nice thematic B&B/mini-hotel. We had the Japan-room but the whole apartment was very nice. Shared living-room/breakfastroom was excellent and location wise you are in the centre of Salerno. Breakfast was excellent and served by a very nice 'nonna di casa' with home-baked cakes.

Possibly the best position in Salerno. Top floor with balcony and amazing views over the old town and the sea. There is an old walkway down into the next layer of the centro storico immediately in front of the building . Do NOT be put off by the building when you arrive.
