It has a great location close to everything. The owner is amazing. Particularly in the morning when he would serve us wonderful brioches and an amazing coffee. Very helpful with all matters and questions you have. The interior is beautiful, more a museum than a hotel. And it has a lot of interesting story to tell. Ask the owner for more.

It’s very clean and very well located; the staff is super friendly and helpful- 24/7 reception and breakfast was included, the rooms are also spacious- the 18th century building and ceiling paintings are just amazing!

The hotel had charm and I liked the old style. I felt like I was really on vacation when entering because of the dark wood furniture, the style and vibe of the place. Location was Superb, in the middle of the city center. The room was very clean and I could relax feeling comfortable. I could easily have stayed more nights at this hotel. I checked in late at night 2-3am and that was no problem. The breakfast was very simple in real Italian style which fitted the hotel experience. You get a coffee served and crossiants (fresh and good taste) which is important for me. The hotel staff was also very friendly and service minded. For me this was a simple, yet nice and very genuin place to stay if you want a real Italian experience, and not the typical resort hotels in which you find everywhere.

Hotel’s location is perfect, at the very centre of Catania, with easy access to the bus that goes to the airport. Very clean room. The staff was always at the reception desk and willing to assist with any problem or question we had.

Hotel was in one of via Etnea side steets (one side ends up on via Etnea and the other side to a busy outdoor market, which is a must to see and visit). Via Etnea is the heart of Catania, lot of attractions, shops and cafes. Bus terminal is a 20 min walk away. Eventhough the hotel is old, the room and the whole facility was very clean, breakfast was more than adequate, and enough variety!
