After visiting and living in almost all parts of the world, and after managing a small B. & B. with great pleasure and success in the uphills around Valencia in Spain, for the desire of contact with people , we decided to detect this magnificent property that stole our hearts. We have partially renovated, refurbished and refreshed it, to bring it to new live. We called it using the nickname of Dad, " HAGGI" , to pay homage to his memory, but with Mom of Florentine origin, the choice of Florence as a point of a new departure, turned out to be the most obvious choice for me. A pleasant return to the roots after many years of stay and work abroad. The primary goal, as already experienced in Valencia, is that our guests feel comfortably accommodated, a bit 'like at home " , so to take full advantage of the time they spend in this fantastic city. And with the contribution of the vitality and the verve of Anna, I am convinced that we will be able to replicate what done so far elsewhere. We'll be waiting for you with open arms in our home ! HAGGI's Residence ( pergola42 ) is a luxury "Bed & Breakfast", in a historic residence in the heart of Florence. We are 50 meters away from the first theater inaugurated in Florence in 1657, the prestigious and renowned Teatro della Pergola, more than ever, with performances and theatrical piecés. The DUOMO instead, the most famous and noble monument of Florence, designed and engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi, is just 500 meters walking distance from the residence. We have 3 Suites on 1st floor of the building and 2 additional Suites on 2nd floor. Since the foundations are dated around the fifteenth century, there was no possibility to install an elevator. We really regret it because we think that everyone would deserve to live an experience in our home, but for this reason, our B. & B. is unfortunately not suitable to persons suffering of physical disabilities. The whole structure is equipped with Wi-Fi High Speed Internet (Optical Fiber) and all the rooms have a Flat-Screen Smart TV, both useful to see your favorite streaming programs or to which you have subscribed.
