This is a good price for the location and amenities in this hotel--everything else I was looking at in Bologna for my dates that was within walking distance of the city center was at least twice as much, and even the properties further out were not that much cheaper. It is a very basic hotel with zero frills, but is clean and comfortable and has everything that you need. Staff is friendly and helpful--you will get a run-down of the area when you arrive. It is about a 10 minute walk to the center; however, one of the major advantages is that it is in/near the university district, so there are plenty of options for cheap bites (kebab stands, Chinese restaurants, pizza-slice joints, a grocery store across the street). The sit-down Italian restaurants in this area are cheaper, less crowded, and have lower coperto than those closer to the attractions. I did most of my eating in this area of town due to the cost-savings.

Easy to find, good location! Lots of nice things nearby. Staff were absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable. Rooms basic but comfortable.

The room is not big, but comfortable and clean. It's nice to have a big mirror, a fan, a hair dryer, a comfortable bed and a TV. The city center, shops, gelato and fruit shops are just around the corner. Bus stops also nearby. The owners are very helpful and caring. Really good value for money.
