Fantastisch restaurant Adélie 👌
Great experience. Town small enough to walk easily to interesting sites. Lovely old town. Close to Pompeii and Amalfi without being a major tourist hub. Staff of Burger at greated us on the street the next day. Great personal service. The Grand Hotel was excellent. Great location near the train station and friendly helpfull staff.

1 day in Salerno was too long.
1 day in Salerno was too long. There were a lot of homeless and sketchy people. It was like the Newark of Italy...filthy. It didn't even feel like we were in Italy until we got to the old part of town. But, we didn't feel safe here either.

A beautiful town with lots of attractions, cafes and restaurants especially in the city centre. Recommended to be visited during the Holiday Season because of the famous Christmas lighting throughout the whole city

Salerno is a great location for shopping, sightseeing.
Salerno is a great location for shopping, sightseeing. Easy travel to Pompei, Herculaneum by bus or train. The harbour trips give access to Amalfi (a great town but it has many hills), you can take a day trip to Capri, Positano by boat as they run regularly. Salerno has many good shops, bars, restaurants and the Old Town is worth going to see.

I found Salerno Prestige and it was the best thing that happened to me and made my stay in Italy better than anticipated. I plan to return in January and will book my stay once I've scheduled my flight!
Definitely lived up to the high ratings. Guido was so so helpful on so many levels: helping us arrange parking in a private garage 1 min walk from the B&B, communication was smooth & fast, gave us super helpful suggestions on where to go and what to do so that we could make the most of our short time in Salerno. The B&B is centrally located, within easy walking distance of many sites. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony, exactly as the photos indicated. One of the best places we stayed on our trip through Italy.
Thank you for making my stay an enjoyable experience! The staff were amazing and easy to reach via whatsapp. This hotel was very clean and spacious. The location is perfect, it took me a five minute walk to get to the beach front. I would definitely stay here again. I read a few reviews regarding the slow internet but my experience was very positive. The internet was fast and the connection was strong.
The appartment is in the great location in the main pedestrian street of Salerno, but was really quiet. Its realy spacious and clean, has 2 bathrooms, well equiped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly, gave us a lot of recommendations. If you are not used to parking in Italian cities, you should also reserve private parking place nearby, but we managed to find a place in the street.
I loved the location and the easy parking at night. We travelled to Salerno and stayed three nights. Every day we were travelling to a different Amalfi Coast location, but every night we we’re driving back to Grand Hotel Salerno.
That was one of the greatest ideas and you should stay at Grand Hotel Salerno for that reason.
Easy check in / Friendly reception / Quite clean inside the room
The hotel was located close to Porto di Salerno the ferry port and right off the Lungomare di Salerno. It is very centrally located to attractions and a few streets from the train station. The room had a large balcony on the 5th floor or so overlooking the main street "Corso Vittorio Emanuele." The breakfast was excellent and refreshing after a hot and sunny weekend.
A wonderful place to stay, the owner helps you with everything and is always very attentive to your needs. Breakfast is great. The beds are very comfortable and the room is very spacious. The ideal place to spend your days in Salerno and the surrounding places since it is not far from the train station. We will repeat for sure.
Many thanks to the host!
Maria was an excellent host. The BnB is in a great location, near the new plaza, across from trendy Embarcadero and many restaurants, and in the heart of centro storico. The room was big and well accommodated, with air conditioning, a kettle/tea, and toiletries. We would definitely stay here again in Salerno.
This was a very convenient hotel, right across from the Salerno train station. We were in Salerno to visit Paestum so the location was a top priority for us.
The staff were very welcoming, the hotel and room were clean, and the included breakfast was very good. We were very satisfied with our stay.
Ivan and Rosaria were the perfect hosts. They went over the top to make sure we had an amazing stay. The room was comfortable, clean and the food was amazing. We will definitely be going back. This was one of our longest stays in Italy and when we left I felt like we had made great friends.
The hotel is in a very good position. It is close to the train station and this makes it quite handy if you arrive by train. However, the city centre starts there. Albeit its central position, the room is quite. Excellent breakfast is provided. Salerno is also a beatiful city.
Location of the property was perfect. Very close to train station and walkable distance to shops and restaurants. It’s a nice stop to spend the night after flying in to Italy and rental cars are nearby for the next day.
Host and family don’t speak much English but were nice
I found it extremely nice to spend the night on a boat in the middle of the harbor. The waves lull you into the night and you have a wonderful view of Salerno.
Of course, a boat is not a hotel - but it's much cooler if you like being on the water.
Our host Rosanna was always helpful giving us hints on where to go and for a price she even helped with some laundry I needed to get done. The hotel has all the facilities you need and the location is right at the centre of Salerno.
The breakfast was a croissant and delicious cappuccino, a typical breakfast in Italy. The building has fantastic architecture. Our hosts, Enzo and Antonella were funny, kind and helpful. It was inexpensive for the budget conscious.
Staff was so kind.
Location is not good, because it is far away from Salerno centre station(2 station). But it’s good for me, so it’s quiet around the hotel.
And i was glad that there was champagne in refrigerator.
Very clean and comfortable and efficient. Have stuffs that we need for an overnight stay. Location is the best, 5-10 min walk to Salerno train station! Best thing is they provided us a small breakfast with fruits.
The location of this Hotel is very near to the train station only 2 minutes walk, and the access to bus station to Amalfi was really good. The staff in the reception were very helpful,
We love it here. Every time we come to Salerno, we stay here. The location is perfect, the room has a great view, the breakfast is so good, and the staff is so nice
Great location in the heart of Salerno. Very comfortable and clean and very good value.
Angela, the hostess, was super helpful and responsive. She’s the best.
