We had a fantastic time at 1166 Backpacker. - Location: It is perfectly located to explore the city (the famous Zenkoji Temple is a 5-minute walk away) and is also a 20-minute walk from the train station. - This is a traditional Japanese house with futon beds, super comfy, we had our best sleep in Japan there. - The team was super kind and friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them. Private rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding. All rooms provide personal safes and complimentary green tea. Toilets and bathrooms are shared. No meals are served.
