Apollo Resort is located right on the white sand beaches of Yakushima Island’s north-east coast. Rooms include a sofa and private bathroom, and open directly onto a terrace overlooking the sea. The simply furnished rooms have multiple windows to let in plenty of natural light. The hotel is a 40-minute drive from Miyanoura Harbor, Yakusugi Museum and Yakushima Fruit Garden. Yakushima Airport is an 80-minute drive. On-site parking is free. Local specialties are served at the hotel’s dining room for breakfast and dinner.
