We stayed near Nagoya station so all sort of stores and food stalls are available. We love the transportation system as always, (Japan got the best). We like the day tours we booked to Takayama and Shirakawa-go, also Nabana Nosato.
Easy to navigate, not so crowded, quiet place and of course safe even for solo lady traveler.

We liked the food, restaurants are everywhere with variety of choices, from ramen to yakiniku to curry. Shopping is also okay although limited shops but overall shopping experience is okay. We almost could not fit all in the luggage. It is also easy to go around. You can just walk or take the subway. We were there during New Year, most shops are Closed.

Nagoya is a vibrant city.
Nagoya is a vibrant city. I don't know why people say it's boring there's plenty to do, and it's got decent transport so it's easy enough to get around it's just a bit spread out. Obviously it isn't Tokyo, Osaka or Kyoto, but it would be unfair to compare it to thoes. It you're looking for night life head to Sakae.

Nagoya was wonderful.
Nagoya was wonderful. Very chill in comparison to Tokyo and the food is absolutely outstanding. The specialities of the area are a must try. It's a great base for day trips further afield; we took a bus tour to Takayama and Shirakawa-go which was also wonderful. There seems to be plenty to do but since we were only there a short while other than multiple restaurants we only really visited the castle.

Nagoya is not boring at all!
Nagoya is not boring at all! Especially during end of November. The autumn foliage at Korankei, Tokugawa Garden and the night view of Shirotori gardens just took my breathe away. Did a Boat ride at Inuyama to Mototaro Shrine and beautiful autumn views as i walked back to the train station. A trip to Shurakeon Park has no disappointment too. Last but not least, Nagoya is just an hour Shinkansen ride to Kyoto. Nagoya served as a good base for me and also the prices of the hotels are reasonable compared to those in Kyoto.

Nagoya is the best city in Japan in terms of shopping,...
Nagoya is the best city in Japan in terms of shopping, sightseeing, learning local culture, enjoying national cousine and such things. Unlike Kyoto, it is not so expensive. Food is delicious and priced reasonably. I would come to Nagoya again and again, but never recommend you to visit Kyoto, unless you want to lose your weight 😁.
The hotel was located at the excellent area which nearby Nagoya station, can go for sightseeing by public transport in a convenient way.
A wide variety of restaurants nearby and have great food experience from day to night
Breakfast and tea time coffee station provide a fresh up corner for the started of the day
Eco friendly approach, super like
Friendly and helpful staff with English speaking support, Flavour the travel experience
Nice, clean and well furnished room with enough space for large suitcase. Bed is comfortable with clean sheets and sleepwear provided, bathroom is good. Staff are friendly and the included breakfast is good.
Hotel is close to Fushimi subway station which is only one stop away from Nagoya station and also near to many popular areas in the city. There's many restaurants, shops and convenience stores in the neighborhood.
Stayed here coz we need to catch an early morning train at Nagoya Station. The hotel is just by the station, conveniently located at the entrance of Exit 4 of Esca underground shopping mall, 3-5 mins walk to station. If you have large luggage, take the escalator next to BIC Camera store which is just across the road from hotel. The escalator is not operational too early in the morning though. 😅
comfortable bed, strategic location near subway station and lot of convenience stores like lawson, 7-11 etc nearby. Unlimited supply of bath amenities in reception area (near elevator) . Courteous hotel staff. Most of all, I love the public bath provided which located in last floor of hotel, its nice to dip in hot bath after a whole day of roaming around in nagoya.
Beautiful and modern hotel, helpful staff who speak good English and huge rooms with all modern comforts, ours even had a sofa! Especially loved the relaxing extras such as heat eye masks and cooling pads for legs - after all day walking it was a really nice touch. The hotel is within walking distance to Nagoya Station and one of the metro stations as well.
The hotel is just down the street from Nagoya main station. The rooms are a decent size for Japan and my room had openable windows, even if they don't open out to anything interesting, getting some fresh air in is nice. The front desk was very helpful in forwarding part of my luggage to my final destination by Yamato.
Hotel is located near Nagoya shinkansen station, so there are so many stores surrounding this hotel, good place for shopping, for eating, for exploring.
About the hotel room, it was very clean, had a great view from the window, staff was very polite.
You don't even need to know Japanese to use any facility here.
Standard room size for a solo traveler.
Location - it was easy to go to/from the Nagoya Station. The directions were not complicated if you follow Google Maps. This is why I chose this hotel in the first place.
Baggage storage - You can leave your luggage if you arrived earlier than the check in time.
Hotel is in a great spot for dinner, there are great eats pretty much in every direction. It's also within walking distance of Nagoya Station (~20 mins) and Nagoya Castle (~18 mins) The room is a shoebox for sure, but the space wasn't wasted and it didn't feel claustrophobic. Excellent value for money.
The size of the room is much bigger than your typical hotel in Japan. It was very roomy and comfortable. The location also is very convenient since it's only a couple minutes walk from Nagoya station and the express train to the airport. Konbinis and restaurants are also close by to the hotel
We had a lovely stay here during a work trip. The hotel is very well located, short 5 min walk from the Nagoya station. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here!
The Hotel's location was very accessible and convenient. Its very close to Nagoya station, alot of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was spacious for us - a family of 4. We were able to relax at the Hotel. We had a fun staying and discovering Nagoya. Thank you.
It was very close to the station.
There were free movies on the TV in the room.
We were able to have them hold our bags before check in.
Fairly far from the good city center activities like Nagoya Castle, etc.
The room was pretty wide for a Japanese hotel.
1) Convenient location. Just a few blocks from the Nagoya Station.
2) Very large locker space.
3) Clean and tidy.
4) Provides new towels, pajama, slipper and tooth brush on every day of your stay.
5) A very nice coffee shop at the entrance of the hotel.
Convenient location within the train station; hotel can be easily found the minute you arrive Nagoya Station.
Connected to many malls with good food and shopping options.
I would stay at this hotel again if I return to Nagoya.
. Clean facilities
. Easy access to Nagoya Station
. Friendly staff and swift check-in and check-out
. Helpful amenities in the lobby
. A spacious room for a budget hotel
. We only stayed one night so not too many comments to make
Location of the hotel is ideal, near the nagoya train station, their shuttle will take you there back and forth, breakfast is also good, rooms are clean, staff are very accommodating and polite highly recommended
I loved the breakfast buffet. Staff is friendly. Loved the shuttle services to and from the hotel. You just need to find it outside Exit 4 Unimall if you want to take it from Nagoya Station.
Less than 5mins walk from Nagoya station.
Clean, comfortable, modern hotel with small but excellent public bath.
Staff are friendly and do speak basic English.
