- Great location near restaurants, shopping (Big Japanese pharmacy / cosmetics shop, Uniqlo). - Super friendly and wonderful hosts - so thoughtful and kind, made the stay extremely special and intimate, an exquisite cultural and Japanese hospitality experience. Hosts made excellent recommendations daily to curate our travel itinerary to various tourist spots within an hour’s drive away. - Bonus: the rooms are equipped with a spa tub for Nagano water baths Wished we stayed much longer ! We already plan to return !

I cannot recommend booking this property strongly enough!! Easily the best place I have stayed in Japan. The hosts are so kind and generous, helping you organise your day or giving you lifts to the station or bus stop. Every time I came home they greeted me with a hot drink and small snack and even taught me origami by the fire one afternoon. The space itself is so beautiful, I will remember this stay for the rest of my life!

The hosts were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. They offered us tea of arrival, gave us some tips on where to go, what to see and what to eat. Every morning they offered us "coffee time", where they also gave us a soup and some fruits, despite not officially offering breakfast. The house is also absolutely stunning!

We have never received such a warm welcome as at this place. The hosts were not only very friendly and accommodating, but also extremely warm and helpful. They helped us with valuable tips, treated us with a small breakfast, fine tea and snacks and supported us in various matters. The rooms themselves are beautifully furnished down to the smallest detail and very clean. It was just perfect! We were very sad to have to say goodbye to the two hosts. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to everyone. It is definitely worth a stay!
