We didn’t have much time to explore Nagoya as it was our starting point to travel to Shiroko for the Formula 1 race at Suzuka Circuit (Thurs- Sun) We did see a lot of Nagoya Station as we arrived & departed from there, walking to the apartment on arrival and back to the station on departure. It was an easy walk, not busy with many pedestrians until nearing the station. We went to the mini marts (7 Eleven also) numerous times for food and drink which we carried home. Also had meals at several of the restaurants nearby. A great location and wonderful accommodation! Would highly recommend.ReneeUnited States - 10Scored 10

We stayed near Nagoya station so all sort of stores and food stalls are available. We love the transportation system as always, (Japan got the best). We like the day tours we booked to Takayama and Shirakawa-go, also Nabana Nosato. Easy to navigate, not so crowded, quiet place and of course safe even for solo lady traveler.

We liked the food, restaurants are everywhere with variety of choices, from ramen to yakiniku to curry. Shopping is also okay although limited shops but overall shopping experience is okay. We almost could not fit all in the luggage. It is also easy to go around. You can just walk or take the subway. Nagoya is a vibrant city.
Nagoya is a vibrant city. I don't know why people say it's boring there's plenty to do, and it's got decent transport so it's easy enough to get around it's just a bit spread out. Obviously it isn't Tokyo, Osaka or Kyoto, but it would be unfair to compare it to thoes. It you're looking for night life head to Sakae.

If you are taking the Nagoya subway, its better to go through Kokusai Center station in the other direction. The room and bed size was perfectly adequate for 2 adults and 1 toddler, comfy and clean linens. There were child amenities refreshed every day for our daughter. The front desk was extremely helpful, especially when we wanted to forward our luggages to our next hotel. Extremely accomodating and made it so easy for us.

The room itself was clean and comfortable too. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The room (for 3 guests) that we have gotten is quite spacious and clean. The hotel is about a 5 to 7 mins walk to the Nagoya train station. The check-in and check out process is very simple and easy (self service). The staff at the front desk are also very friendly and nice. There is also a Family Mart (similar to 7-11) nearby to the hotel. The hotel has a coin laundromat and vending machine.

There were lots of food shops where you can buy bento boxes and snacks in the underground.
