Check the weather forecast before planning your trip to Kawaguchiko, as beside the view of Mt Fuji there's very little to do there, also restaurants are very rare and working hours is almost not existent, everything closes early or not open at all... so be mindful of the meals you should carry with you.

The view of the lake is absolutely stunning, but it's quite disappointed that we didn't catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji. It's always a good idea for travelers to check the weather beforehand.

This is absolutely worth visiting when coming to Japan.
This is absolutely worth visiting when coming to Japan. There are endless things to do and everywhere you look, its so picturesque having Mt Fuji in the background. There are heaps of places to eat although they do get pretty full quickly and it does get packed with plenty of tourists during peak season. there are bike rentals you can hire to get around. Definitely stay for a few days in Fujikawaguchiko instead of competing with the crowds on a day trip, more convenient that way.

Obviously an amazing location for viewing Mt. Fuji. Right at the lakefront and a hike to a lookout nearby, we were lucky to get an afternoon with clear weather before it got snowy. Outdoor onsen with a view was amazing even if Mt Fuji was covered by clouds at that point and the breakfast and dinner served at the hotel was great. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely view. Even if we didn't get to see Mt Fuji at all, it still would have been a very nice stay
Clean room, nice surrounding and lobby.
Free shuttle bus to and from between hotel and Kawaguchiko station.
Counter staff are helpful and polite.
Excellent service of restaurant staff who served our Kaiseki dinner. He is a Japanese but spoke very fluent Mandarin.
Bed and mattress are of average, it would be excellent if have even better one.
Breakfast is not as much varieties as bigger hotels but the food is exquisite and delicious.
We were happy with everything overall.
Beautiful view of Mt. Fuji at the hotel location. It is not necessary to pay more for a Fuji-view room, you can see the majestic mountain at the lift lobby, at the restaurant, from the 6F observation deck, and outside the hotel. The French and Japanese kaiseki dinner were superb. The public onsen is separated to male and female. Go in the early morning to avoid the crowd. There is a sauna, two indoor and one outdoor onsens. Coin laundry machines are available too.
1. Location at 4th station red line
2. Halal food nearby (biryani) and family mart walking distance
3. Have breakfast
4. Very comfy
5. Room spacious just nice for two
6. Have laundry which is quite cheap and reasonable
7. Provided skincare also and the skincare so good to our skin!
8. Pyjamas also provided!
9. Behind the hotel is mt fuji view!
I would super recommend toyoko inn hotel in any japan area. Would definitely book here again in another trip.
The hotel is located near to Lake Kawaguchi northern shore. We could view Mt Fuji 🗻 from the hotel. We visited it during the Sakura season and the lines of Sakura trees were just 200mtrs away from the hotel.
The room was of good size and had running hot water.
The owner was kind enough to let us check in at 1pm. As it was the peak of tourist season and taxis were unavailable, the owner kindly dropped us to Kawaguchi station.
It's my first time to visit Lake Kawaguchi and appreciate Mount. Fuji. Landlord can speak decent English. You can place your luggage before you check in and after you check out, which makes us convenient to make the most of time on our journey. Moreover, you can enjoy the hot spring and enjoy the Mount Fuji at the same time. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to have a trip near Mount Fuji.
The location was easy to get to. We decided to walk from Kawaguchiko Station to the hotel. We were not strapped for time, so this was a great way for us to explore everything along the way. Once we got to the hotel, we were happily greeted and treated to a wonderful cup of tea. The views from the room were amazing. On checkout day, they have a shuttle to the station which makes it even more convenient.
Near to lake and station.
Clean hotel and room.
Beautiful japanese breakfasts.
The hotel driver is a person of warmth. I have travelled in and around Tokyo for two weeks and he is the first person who sees me as a person to relate and not a foreigner problem to trouble shoot.
The hotel trains future hospitality professionals and the trainees are eager to learn.
The train station is very close, so I can quickly go to Kawaguchi-ko for my trip. As for the capsule hotel, they provide spacious individual capsules and lockers, secured by ID cards matching your capsule. Additionally, the washroom is well-maintained. The outside slippers provided at the entrance are a nice touch for guests heading to the nearby Lawson for food.
The hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop and has a great view of the lake and Mt Fuji. The restaurant Konami next to it serves great Japanese meals. The breakfast was very Japanese but I enjoyed it very much. They gave a pretty good breakfast spread. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The staff was amazing and very kind, the location was great and we saw Mt. Fuji from our window!
The room offered traditional Japanese lifestyle, such as kimono, tatami, green tea and Japanese sweets.
We got early check-in to the room, and the parking was near the hotel.
The in-room rotenburo was very spacious, with plenty of room for two. It felt wonderful, and provided a perfect view of Mt Fuji. The hotel, and the surrounding neighborhood, were very quiet and peaceful. Nearby izakaya was very friendly for foreign visitors.
Nice hotel. 10-15 minutes walk from kawaguchiko station. 5 minit from mini market, drug store, and supermarket. My second time stayed in this hotel. Lower prices compared other hotels, but facilities are good enough for me. Will come back again
Perfect location, very close to Kawaguchiko station, Fuji Mountain View is right there when you stand at the entrance of the hotel. Very comfy room with everything you need during the stay. Very friendly staff are happy to help.
Traditional Japanese style hotel. Breakfast was an absolute feast. We were able to request it without seafood and staff were happy to accommodate the request. We also had an amazing view of Mt Fuji from the room window.
Everything was nice and good. The location is very near to Haneda Airport. It also near to train station. The most I like was, there is a free shuttle from airport to the hotel when we arrived at 12 am.
