It was a beautiful place to stay. As soon as I stepped into the twin bed room and saw the facilities, and then looked at the view from the window I just let out a deep breath and relaxed.
The staff were very helpful. I appreciated using the free shuttle bus to the railway station, but I also used the local bus service a very short walk from the hotel.
Breakfast was excellent too. If I had the opportunity I would definitely return to stay.

Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm.
Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm. I love the scenic view of Nagasaki port. People here are very warm and friendly, and it's a city full of nostalgic vibe. Besides that, Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum has very modern and minimalistic architecture style. I like Champon a lot and have it almost everyday during my stay in Nagasaki.

A beautiful city which has unique history of being exposed to other countries, i.e. China, Netherlands, Portugal / Spain, England while the rest of the country was closed. It is also an important witness and victim of the A-bomb.
Don't forget to enjoy the view from Inasa yama.
Also, it offers various food options - shippoku-ryori can be eaten approximately 4000 per person if it is lunch.
We did not get to go to islands and Shimabara etc this time as well as House tembos....
It is a little hard to access by shinkansen now, but it was worth a visit.

The Night View is one of the best I've ever seen (second only to Hong Kong). We went up on the Rope Way, then discovered there was a Slope Car ascent as well--great for a return trip. The Dejima Wharf was a fantastic place to walk. The food in the restaurants around the city was wonderful. The trolley was fun, too.

A short stay like 2 days & 2 nights should be able to cover all the major attractions in Nagasaki. Booked a hotel that provides onsen as it will be useful after much walking from one attraction to another. Buy the one-day tram pass and plan the number of attractions you can cover within the day or night... Then, have a good dinner at the Nagasaki Dejima Wharf... very good sashimi and must try the Uni Donburi!

A visit to the Atomic centre is important however, not for small kids don't think they should be exposed to this. However, its an incredible experience to see what's there & see the footage of what occurred truly a time to reflect on life.
The hotel is within 15 mins walk away from Nagasaki station. The walk is manageable as you need to walk along the malls. The room size is manageable and the breakfast spread is awesome. Free ramen supper as usual. There is also an onsen, massage chair and free ice-pop (PM)/yakult (AM) at the 14th floor. 7-11 is directly located in the same hotel building. U can use your room card to access within the hotel lobby. The hotel is also located near the tram station. Recommend to get day pass to enjoy unlimited rides around the city.
Excellent value for money. The room was really spacious, luxurious and spotless. You couldnt fault it. Staff were more than helpful. They were always very polite and gave me great assistance with booking taxis, ferries and getting around town. I left my earrings behind in the bathroom and they found them and kept them for me so that I could collect them on my return to Nagasaki. Thank you very much to all the staff at Hotel Concerto.
I like the room very much. It's really clean and comfortable. The location is also really good. Just 2 min walk from Nagasaki Bus Station. And also, it's very reasonable compared to "business hotel". There's a range of basic kitchen utensils too like cups, spoons, plates etc. There's also a washing machine downstairs.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here and will definitely come back again!
Very good breakfast for US $17. Great location next to train station and tram. Lots of restaurants and food stores within walking distance surrounding the hotel. Great English speaking concierge who gave us excellent tips on visiting the different tourist locations. Can purchase tram tickets at the concierge. underground parking convenient but tight spaces so need a small car.
The hotel was in a great location for exploring Nagasaki, right in Chinatown and really close to a tram stop. Lots of good restaurants nearby too. The room was amazing and a really great size compared to a lot of the more traditional Japanese hotel rooms we stayed in! Bed was comfortable and the room came with a lot of amenities too.
The hotel is very well situated at 5min walking to Dejima wharf and to Chinatown. There's even a tram stop in front that goes straight to Nagasaki Station. The facilities where good, the bed was comfortable and the room spacious enough for 1 person to pass. Breakfast is not bad.
1. Breakfast was excellent, with the local Nagasaki speciality foods available.
2. Room was spacious, & the amenities were very high quality
3. Car parking was onsite, and reasonably priced given the hotel's location
loved the aesthetic and the amenities--shower and toilet were clean and nice. The cafe below is awesome too! Great breakfast. The bed was comfortable. This is absolutely going to be my go-to lodging for Nagasaki city.
Awesome service and attention from staff. Full amenities provided with comfortable room. Close proximity to most locations. Great view of Nagasaki night view from comfort and convenience from hotel rooftop.
You can see that the hotel is a bit older, but it has everything you need for a stay in Nagasaki. The breakfast was fantastic, especially with the view from the 15th floor.
