It has the best view for Mt Fuji from the room and we were lucky to experience the amazing Mt Fuji view during our stay given the nice weather. The room was spacious and clean. Our little toddler really enjoyed the little playroom and she kept asking for the playroom when we changed to a different hotel which did not have any playroom sadly. Onsen experience was great especially the onsen with Mt Fuji view. The free shuttle pick up service made life easier.

Located in the Mount Fuji area, Oike Hotel features indoor and outdoor public hot spring baths, and baths that can be rented for private use. It offers free pick-up from Kawaguchiko Train Station with an advance reservation. Mount Fuji or the Misaka Mountains can be seen from the outdoor hot spring bath. Rooms at Hotel Oike are Japanese-style, with traditional futon bedding atop a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Guests can put on a Yukata robe, sip fresh green tea and watch their LCD TV. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station and a 7-minute drive from the Kawaguchiko Interchange (IC) on the Chuo Expressway. Parking is free. Massages offers chances to unwind. A souvenir shop are also on site. Tea Lounge Peppermint is open from 07:00-21:00 daily.
