The house itself is very quaint and clean with many small nice personal touches. The meals also were western but very delicious with huge portions (you must try the bread)! The owner was also friendly and tried his best to communicate with us even though he didn’t speak much English as I think they get more Japanese clients. Tip: they sell discounted lift tickets that’s a lot cheaper than buying on the slope. Unfortunately we only saw this after buying our tickets :(

Located just a 1-minute walk from Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort, Pension Alps Hakuba is cosy accommodation with wooden furniture and free in-room Wi-Fi. Bicycle rentals and tennis courts are available at an extra charge. It is a 3-minute drive from JR Kamishiro Station. A free pick-up service is offered if requested at time of booking. Happo-One Ski Resort is a 10-minute drive away. Each simple and comfortable room at Alps Hakuba Pension is fitted with air conditioning and a TV. Bathroom and toilet are shared. Guests can leave their luggage and ski equipment at the property before checking in or after checking out. There is a lounge area with a flat-screen TV, and the kids’ space comes with books and toys. Hearty Western course meals are prepared with fresh vegetables and herbs, and served at the dining room. Guests can also enjoy homemade bread and other dishes for breakfast.
