This is just an amazing little hotel just of the beaten track and the major hotels with very easy access to the beach ( walking distance ) . The staff Justin ( Owner ) and Fransis (Barmen) went out of their way to always help. Fransis even made me and my wife a plate of fries 12:00 at night after the kitchen were closed. We returned very late after we went back to Mombasa to fetch our luggage that were left behind in Addis Ababa.

This place is exactly what I needed and it is owned by a local family (this should be commonplace but coastal Kenya is very much neocolonized). They pay attention to details. It’s impossible to be here and not feel like you’re at the best joint in town.

It is a 10 out of 10 for this hidden gem in Watamu! Each and every part of our stay was absolutely stunning. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcome as family. Staff is always there to help making you feel like at home at the same time. Food is simply the best you will eat in town (try the fish of the day or the Indian Ocean salad). Justin is an amazing host, he went well beyond his duties to make our stay unforgettable. The rooms are comfortable, nice and well equipped (beds have nets, too). The place itself is adorable, with a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. Apart from English and Swahili, Justin and his team all speak Italian, which is a plus. Should you be lucky enough to find availability, do not think of it twice and book ahead.
