I loved the tour of fort Jesus and the drive through Mombasa town. We had lunch at a place called char choma right on the beach front in Nyali, they have amazing barbecues. You definitely need a car to take you around Mombasa, anything less than that is not a good experience. Be careful with the locals, always ask the cost of their services before getting yourself involved. Google maps will be your best friend, it lets you know where the restaurants, shopping malls e.t.c are located.

Mombasa is HOT, and I love hot weather so it was fine for me. It is very peaceful, laid back place, and the people were very friendly. A simple NO to a street vendor was fine. We went to Nyali public beach, very nice.

Mombasa, a Kenyan metropolis, ensconced on the cusp of the Indian Ocean, proffered an experience both exhilarating and immersive. The city's historical tapestry, woven with threads of Portuguese, Arab, and British influences, manifested in its magnificent architecture, from the imposing Fort Jesus to the labyrinthine alleys of the Old Town.
My peregrinations led me through bustling marketplaces, where cacophonous haggling painted a vivid picture of the city's commercial heart. The vibrant hues of spices, the aromatic allure of freshly brewed Kenyan coffee, and the captivating calls of vendors all coalesced into an intoxicating sensory experience.
Beyond the urban hum, the pristine beaches beckoned, their silken sands fringed by turquoise waters. Indulging in the aquatic embrace of the Indian Ocean, I found solace in the rhythmic caress of the waves and the mesmerizing spectacle of the sun dipping below the horizon, casting an incandescent ember across the sky.
Mombasa's culinary scene tantalized my taste buds with an explosion of flavors. From the delicate nuances of Swahili cuisine to the fiery depths of Ethiopian stews, each meal was a revelation, a testament to the city's rich cultural heritage.
Departing Mombasa, I carried with me an indelible mosaic of memories – a kaleidoscope of sights, sounds, and flavors that forever etched this captivating coastal haven in my mind's eye.

Beautiful beaches, friendly people, great local food & the fruit is amazing We were away from CBD ( whose heavy traffic hours are crazy!), and enjoyed the slower pace nearer the beach areas. It's quite easy to get around Mombasa & to cross from the North to the South Coast areas & vice versa using the now very reliable ferry system. The little tuk tuk vehicles tend to be popular but fast paced drivers find them to be a nuisance

Swimming in the pool proved a good way to enjoy the vacation with the children. We also visited Haller Park and the tour guide was very good and helpful. We also visited the Fort Jesus. Time spent at Shanzu beach was great. We enjoyed public transport though the shops were a bit far.

The weather was perfect from the moment we landed, though hot for the kids because they are not used to that kind of weather.
The town was chilled loved the people and were welcoming and warm.
Visited the beach which was perfect with white sandy beaches, boat rides to the marina, feeding the fish and snorkeling.
Haller parks was great for the kids and the feeding time for the giraffe and the crocodiles, they loved it.
Dinner by the beach was amazing but too windy for the kids.
Amazing place to visit, for business, work or vacation with welcoming people and beautiful views.

The location is good - close to the main road and in the walking distance (15 min) to the beach. The studio is quite spacious with a very comfortable bed. There's a nice small hotel almost next door with a nice bar/restaurant (discounts included) and access to small swimming pool to relax.
In general, perfect value for money. And the host, Meggie, was very helpful as well.
We really enjoyed our stay. The room, restaurant and pool were all very good and the maintenance and cleaning was first class. Breakfast was also very good and all the staff are friendly and efficient. We will certainly return again. The hotel is in easy reach of all Mombasa (Fort Jesus, old town, beach and shopping mall by tuk-tuk).
Really enjoyed our stay! The staff are so friendly, and really go out of their way to ensure that you are well looked after at all times. We did the breakfast included option and the breakfast everyday was so amazing; one of the best breakfast buffets I have enjoyed in a while! The hotel itself is beautiful, and super clean.
Good value for money, shared kitchen is spacy and well equipped. The pool got shad in the early morning as well as in the afternoon, and is a pleasant option to cool down. The rooftop is accessable for a nice view over sea and nyali.
Its a 1.5km walk to shopping, and a 2km walk to either mombasa beach or pirates beach.
The customer service was good. The interaction was great from the receptionists. They welcomed us well and allowed us to check in early since we landed very early in Mombasa.
The locations for their beach beds to relax and enjoy the view are unmatched. Great location for a creek view.
Amazing host for starters. The place is well organized and very clean. Accessible to all facilities ranging from supermarket to a very nice gym. It's also very close to Kenyatta beach. If you're in Mombasa on vacation this is definitely the place to spend your time. Worth every cent.
The host (Brian ) was very good, the location has very good access to the supermarket, beach (clean beach ) and to local hotels was good and convenient
The house is spacious , clean, and a very quiet neighbourhood with security
We had a great stay !
The hotel has nice garden and two swimming pools. The outside facilities are really nice. The border between the hotel territory and the public beach is fenced and protected. Catering a la card was good, just prepartion of food took a lot of time.
The hotel is very clean and provides very good services, staff and manager were very attentive, helpful and friendly, food is always fresh and delicious, the bed is comfortable, overall I had one of my best experiences staying at a hotel in Kenya.
Staff are amazing - super friendly and helpful. The hotel is brand new, the pool is lovely, rooms are clean and the hotel is in an excellent location close to the beach and also the shopping mall. Very good value price as well so would recommend
The place is clean, secure and is located conveniently next to the main road and it's very close to the beautiful beaches of Mombasa. Its a good space for a couple or solo traveler for business or pleasure.
The host was responsive and kind
The place is great and nearby the road to drive everywhere. They have a beach at the hotel and a big swimming pool. There is also enough parking space which is very convenient. The staff were very nice.
The hotel is located near some clubs which makes it really noisy. The pool was extremely dirty and the rooms quite basic. The wifi was, in general, very poor. The best was the staff.
The place was super amazing, the staff Enock was the best, the pool is super clean, very close to the beach, nearest to the supermarket, and everything was just on top. We loved it.
