Central Indochine D'angkor Hotel, hotel in Siem Reap

Conveniently located in Siem Reap, We are a non - foreigner worker. Our staffs are all local people. We set this idea in order to support our local people to have a job.

I was there for a few weeks; my second time staying here. The staff were once again really friendly and helpful. And I would stay again. It's a 10 minute walk to town if that's what you want. And there are a number of nice little restaurants locally if you explore the surrounding streets too.

What a great hotel! Nice spacious rooms, lovely swimming pool, delicious food and amazing front desk team. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel arranged our temple visit with breakfast box to see the sunrise. We did enjoyed our cocktails at the relaxing spot, the swimming pool surrounded by greenery ambience. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel and love to go back!!!

The Nature, hotel in Siem Reap

Jungle in the desert - The Nature is the best place to escape from routine to a reinvigorating retreat. Certain units feature views of the garden, pool or countryside.

What a hidden gem ! Despite the fact it was only a short tuk tuk drive from the city center you felt completely immersed in nature. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The rooms were spacious and contained lots of small touches like loose leaf tea. A fantastic stay.

Upon arriving at any airport I'm leary of airport taxis.

Upon arriving at any airport I'm leary of airport taxis. My driver Ann was an amazing guy. The rate they offer at the airport was the same as Grab (SE Asia's Uber). He spoke great English and was a perfect representation of everyone I met in Siam Reap, the most polite people I've encountered in 16 countries I've lived in or stayed at least a week in. The area around Pub Street has whatever you want if you're not looking for the sketchiness of Bangkok's Nana or Soi Cowboy or HCMC's Bui Vien which was relaxing. Angkor Wat was awesome, the "Private Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour" with guide Kael and driver Sak were awesome, the group was awesome, it was more enjoyable than the Pyramids or Great Wall. Like the guide and group, but the site was stand alone as well.

The Angkor Wat temples complex was amazing but due to the heat I am glad I only spent only one day there. The city is very vibrant with lots of option for a night drink. However I think 3 days (one of them being dedicated to Angkor Wat) is more than enough for this city.

Siem Reap is the perfect place to be based to visit the sights of Ankgor Wat and surrounds. I had 5 nights 4 days which was enough to see everything but if I could have added an extra day or two would have been better to see other things. Obviously the main temples to visit and the floating villages is why tourists come to this spectacular area but please take the time to go and visit the APOPO Hero Rats only 3kms out of town and a few dollars by tuk tuk. This was an unexpected highlight of my time in Siem Reap, these rats have been trained to sniff our tnt in the landmines to help rid Cambodia of these dreadful devices. Siem Reap is definately worth a visit!

Plenty to offer for a short stay in this the town.

Plenty to offer for a short stay in this the town. Lots of culture, with Temples and museums. Also a good mix of restaurants to suit all food types and Pub street if that’s your thing. Spoons is a fantastic restaurant, it’s a social enterprise company that serves the most delicate food! The chicken is highly recommended and all profits are put back into the community to help disadvantaged young people! A win win!

Felt very safe walking around day and evenings, friendly locals greeting me, polite and courteous people, a lovely city living up to its reputation as Cambodia's Holy City. Easy to get around - ask the price first when you engage a tuktuk or other transport. Lots of restaurants and accomodation options for all budgets. Get a massage - ! You'll leave feeling good.

Location! Close enough to the center, but far enough from the noise of Siem Reap. There are always a few tuk tuks ready to take you anywhere you need. I also like that the hotel arranges the Ankor Wat tuk tuk for you (not tickets. You can get your tickets at the Ankor Wat enterprise box office or online) The staff tried as much as they can to be nice and welcoming. They tried their best to help in English. Breakfast was decent. Decent spread of various foods and an omelet station, which I always like.

Spacious and clean room with nice bathroom. Shower water was hot and strong. Very good breakfast with various fruits and delicious vegetables. All members of staff were friendly and helpful, especially Vy and the wonderful manager Thitima. Both of them speak perfect English and did their best to help whenever guests need. Thitima even brought the Wi-Fi boost from her own home when the Wi-Fi wasn’t stable in our room. They made us feel this hotel is the right place to stay in Siem Reap.

FCC Angkor by Avani is the kind of boutique hotel. Surrounded by palms and trees. Room decorated with colonial and minimalist style was super nice. Staff was always helpful and looking every minute after you. Restaurant food was very, very good. Breakfast (included in the room price in our case) was a la carte and with all variety you could expect for a 5 star hotel. Pubs street and Siem Reap restaurants are 10min walk from FCC. Airport was 15min driving distance.

This cozy hotel is small and intimate, so beautifully decorated with a nice pool area and great breakfast. The pool was undegoging maintenance and they took us to their sister hotel's pool which was very accommodating. All of the staff were friendly. Tana looked after us very well and organised tours for us, including a Cambodian cooking class and Tuk tuks to the Angkor temples. If you like boutique-esque hotels then this is a must for a visit to Siem Reap.

The hotel felt like a peaceful oasis close to Siem Reap and the temples. All of the staff we met were so friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable. The Villa rooms are absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed, unique, spacious, and very relaxing and peaceful. We relaxed in the stone tub by the windows that opened up to the trees outside. Great food, pools, ponds, boardwalks, and lights lighting up everything beautifully at night.

Anjali is a superb hotel close to Angkor Wat. Clean, luxurious and great staff. They also have a very good restaurant. No reason to be ripped off at the tourist trap eateries downtown in Siem Reap. still a bit Covid-aftermath with few other guests and a closed bar when we were there. We travelts Cambodia for three weeks and stayed only at 4-star hotels. Anjali was the best of them all.
