I honestly loved Busan more than Seoul! it is like Seoul but in a smaller foot print which means you can experience vibey places, natural places, or cool places all within close proximity to one another.
The beaches is really what makes Busan IMO as it attracts and creates a VIBE which makes you smile. And the beaches Haeundae and Gwangali are so clean and fresh!
The tourist attractions are great! and unique enough that it doesn't feel same same as Seoul. Mind you there is a lot heights so make sure you aren't afraid of heights.

We preferred Seoul to Busan.
We preferred Seoul to Busan.
Busan is more of a party city, and a city for tourists who like to stay on the beaten track, people who like to shop and see fast cars.
We missed some culture, museums, ....

Vibrant port city with lots to see, eat, and do!
Vibrant port city with lots to see, eat, and do! Great mode of transportation with walking, using subway and buses however if we could we would have liked to take a taxi to eliminate long traveling, especially after a long day or later at night.
Yugsigdo on Gwangbok-ro was a very yummy korean bbq restaurant to eat.
Maybe have the app Papago or a translator if you struggle with Korean to communicate, that would have been helpful for us.

Extremely beautiful city on the coastline - so much to do and see. We went in early April, and there was an abundance of cherry-blossoms and blooming spring flowers. Seafood is superb. Wish we could be back there!!!

Everything was marvellous. Haeundae beach was beautiful.
Everything was marvellous. Haeundae beach was beautiful. The eating at restaurants nearby was superb, including the nearby Traditional Market. Both the train and tram systems were easy to follow and awesomely cheap. So much to do. We did a superb day tour and a Busan city bus tour, including the very moving, beautiful and informative UN cemetery for the Korean War.

I have to admit the only context I had heard about Busan...
I have to admit the only context I had heard about Busan before my trip was a horror movie about zombies (Train to Busan)
But the movie was enough to make me curious to find out more about the city.
I discovered an interesting story and the great potential that this city has.
The visit was even more impressive than I ever thought it would be.
In addition to the beautiful beach and the Gamcheon culture village, the entire surrounding area is also beautiful and offers, for example, the most beautiful temple in Korea.
Right on the water next to cliffs. Really a must when the weather is good.
I would have liked to have stayed more than 2 days and explored the Gamcheon Culture Village even more.
The staff and facilities were great. The beds, pillows and blanket/duvet covers were all very comfortable. The large shower head was a great bonus. The hotel is a short walk away from Haeundae beach, the traditional markets and Gunam-ro where you can find amazing options for food and bars. The metro station is a 10-15 minute walk away. The water taps and air gun found outside of the entrance to blast the sand out of our shoes after visiting the beach was great to have.
Great hotel in a central location so it’s easy to get to other sections of the city; the executive rooms are worth their value for the food and drinks in the executive lounge are marvelous. The staff is attentive, friendly and very professional. The hotel is surrounded by wonderful restaurants and bars, and of course it’s attached to the Lotte Mall, and upscale shopping venue with other restaurants as well. It’s was a great place to stay as we explored Busan.
I had a fantastic stay at the Best Western Haeundae Hotel. The room was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. Although the windows were a bit high, I still enjoyed a lovely view of the beautiful Haeundae Beach. The hotel's location was perfect, with everything I needed located nearby. I highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
The property is Busan beach perfection. It is located on the corner of Gwangalli Beach with absolutely perfect views of the bridge and beach. It is out of any congestion yet still just steps to get to the beach. The staff went above and beyond. It was clean and wonderful. Like virtually all rooms in South Korea, we needed an extra bed to accommodate our family of four. It was added to our room and very comfortable.
Wonderful hotel in a great location, just across from Haeundae Beach. The suite was very large and comfortable, with a huge TV and comfortable couch. We walked on the beach every day and found lovely places to eat nearby. Bedroom was also large, and quite dark with curtains drawn. Fantastic view of the ocean from both rooms. And a great value at only around US$70 a day.
I'm staying for a night with my friends and we booked for 3persons room with sea view. So we got a room in 20th floor. There is bus stop in front of the hotel(i'm riding a 1003 bus from Busan Station to Haeundae Beach so this bus will stop in front of this hotel). Got 7eleven at the hotel. And you can reach beach, restaurants, cafe or other shop by walking distance.
Nice staff, big room, comfortable bed. The water pressure in the shower is amazing! It is very close to Haeundae beach, but Busan is a big city so the Hotel can't be close to everywhere. Check which locations you are going and how to get there. Many restaurants/cafes nearby and there is a 24h 7-eleven right in front of the Hotel, which is very handy.
Great view! Clean apartment with all the comforts of home! It’s a great location. It’s literally a quick 10 minute walk to Haeundae Beach, Haeundae Traditional market and lots of great restaurants!!! Starbucks and McDonalds are 1.5 blocks up from the hotel! Would definitely use again when visiting Busan!
Got very good price, so great value. It seemed like older hotel, but renovated, even though our room was visibly on the older side. Liked the location near train station, but Busan is a big/long city, so traveling to some parts of city can take time, but others are really close.
The location was excellent. Check-in was easy and they let us check in early. Beach was so close and several restaurants around. I would definitely stay again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone hoping to have a great location in Haeundae beach area.
The Show Hotel located at ideal location, near to the subway and bus station, convenience stores, restaurants, and laundry shop. 5-10 mins walking distance to the Haeundae beach and night market. The staff is nice and the room is comfortable.
The location of this hotel is probably the best you could get for the price - you get to see Haeundae Beach by your window and just downstairs are shops and convenient stores. The rooms were also very clean and quite minimalist in design.
Good sized room, location is good, just above mrt exit. Good for people who want to stay near Haeundae beach. We had 4 people but we paid for extra set of bedding which allowed one person to sleep on the floor on a thin mattress.
The room was a decent size, and had a beautiful view of Haeundae beach! It was just minutes away from the hotel.
Lots of restaurants and shops around the area also
We had a very enjoyable stay, made even better by the generous staff, especially Mr. Kim. The hotel is in a great location with a perfect view of Haeundae beach.
