Daejeon was a very nice city and a person could do a lot of great shopping there if that’s their interest. I went to the Yousong Spa and had a great experience. There are quite a few sites just beyond the outskirts of the city too. The bus system was very easy to navigate as well. Mine was a January/winter trip so I didn’t get to see all the city has to offer. It is worth a return trip though.

I only get to travel for a day so I cannot really describe Daejeon. But from research, I would definitely love to come back and try more things. I took the City Tour Bus and it is quite different from other city tour buses I have tried in Korea. Daejeon City Tour Bus has "theme" per day and you get to travel with a group. One bus will be waiting while you go around the place and we also had our own tour guide. Maybe it is only on weekdays and on weekends you get to go to different places on your own pace.
The hotel is a classy medium/high-end hotel that is now a little old hence the affordable prices. It is kept really well, the rooms are cleaned properly, as well as the corridor and the hotel in general. The room is definitely bigger than its competitors for the same price range and it is equipped with a cooktop and a washing machine. It is really close to the metro line 1 (basically downstairs) and walking distance from the nightlife area of Dunsan-dong (15-20 min). Plus around the hotel, there are a lot of restaurants.
I loved the spaciousness, the layout of the room, the impressive WiFi, and the fact that there was a clothes steamer in the room.
The breakfast was okay; perhaps an addition of protein like eggs other than just sausage would be great.
The location is convenient; it is 2~3 minutes from a subway station, and there are several bus stations around it. Also, there are many restaurants, fast food restaurants, and great coffee shops surrounding it for foreigners who might want to have non-Korean meals.
Its a really nice hotel, the room was a great size and modern. The bed was really comfortable, we had an excellent couple of sleeps. Also we never heard any noise from the neighbouring rooms despite it being full during our stay. The bath tub was a great addition to the room, so nice to jump into after a long day.
The staff is nice and accommodating. The location is nice and so close to a big mall full of good and affordable restaurants.E mart (grocery) is quite close too. The hotel is around 4 km from Daejong station.
Free coffee at the lobby and 3 small bottles of water per day (2 persons) included.
The hotel was conveniently located just a 3 minute walk from the nearest subway station. It’s on a big road, but it wasn’t noisy during the day or at night. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean. There’s a convenience store on the 1st floor.
I liked the location most; it's 3-4 minutes walking distance from the nearby subway station. Also, there is a convenience store 1-2 minutes away, and although it is prevalent in Korea, I still like that it has an option. My room was clean and in good condition, so I was okay.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The spacious rooms provided ample room to relax and move around, while the comfortable amenities ensured a truly enjoyable experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was also top-notch, making me feel at ease during my entire stay.
The rooms are clean and spacious. Coffee and water are provided by the hotel. The packed light breakfast is really appreciated. Finally, the staff know English so they easily communicate with their guests from different countries who speak English.
I visited the Daejeon for a wedding, and the wedding reception was also held at the hotel. The reception itself was great - good staff and the food was excellent.
I also enjoyed the hot spring within the hotel, which was _fantastic_.
beautiful hotel in a great location with a nice view of the city. the staff were so kind and helpful so I truly enjoyed my short stay and will definitely return when I go back! great amenities and comfortable room.
The rooms are really nice. There are even chairs and a coffee table. The gym is also quite good for a hotel. On the first floor, near the reception, there is a machine for currency exchange with reasonable rates.
Every morning at breakfast the ladies in the breakfast room were the best. After my first day, they remembered I liked sugar in my coffee. They would bring me sugar. The ladies were amazing!
The location was good. We did not have breakfast due to difficulties in managing time schedule by us.We love the envirionment and hope to stay in future also when we will travel daejeon.
