A well organised city.
A well organised city. Shymbulak Snow Mountain is very close by to city. Lots of Indian restaurants available. Yandex Go ( Taxi App ) is very nominal and also available immediately from Booking. Highly recommend tourist to use Yandex go. Don't use Airport taxi agents who approach you , they offer less price to get hold of customers however while dropping they charge heavy,so be careful and better not use them. Instead you may use prepaid taxi or Yandex Go.

It's a tiny hotel (8 rooms) at the top of a block, bang in the middle of town with the theatre, cafes and shops a short walk away. Exceptional, friendly staff, a free shuttle from the airport, quiet comfortable rooms which are beautifully decorated. There is no lift, so if stairs are a problem for you, you might have trouble. That aside, it's all great! There are cheaper places, but nowhere nicer. I'll be back, often.
