Vilnius is a Baltic pearl. Having visited a great number of European countries and cities, big and small, I was really surprised how Vilnius out-stands them all in many aspects. This city is so vivid and bright, young and artistic, it does not look similar to anything else. Hosting many talented and artistic people, it seems to be very functional and evolving, while still taking care of culture and tradition and integrating all aspects and requests of modern society with now damage to nature, harmony and ecology. This is like if druids from some fantasy novel would have built themselves a city and took good loving care of it.
People of Vilnius are great. Vilnius is very modern and focused on evolving its banking system and researching financial technologies, but even so - it still has strong connection to its rural areas and you can feel nature and rural vibes in people and streets, even if you see people on expensive BMW's and Helentwagens, wearing strict business dresses - you will still fill this Lithuanian spirit, loving and respectful to the nature. This central concept helps the whole city stay harmonic and very green almost effortlessly. It is surprising how much Vilnius is underrated, but on the other hand, its great that its not drowning in tourists, you will still easily find a seat in local coffee shop to take a warming cup of coffee with desert and enjoy a great view on the beautiful Vokiečių street. You should come and walk not only in the center of Vilnius, but also in more distant districts, just allocate more time for your travel and in different areas you will get reach atmospheric and existential experience. Not to mention that it is one of the cleanest cities in Europe and definitely one of the safest.

Wonderful city with lots of character and history to learn about. We registered for walking tours which helped us to get our bearings and hear stories from local people. The city has lots of great bars and cafes including a food market hall with great options.
Using the Bolt app, it was very easy and cheap to get from the airport to the city centre.

Winter season can be rainy and frosty though light decorations on the streets and city inhabitants in the evenings give charm to the city. Restaurants and pubs are full, it looks like gastronomy and drinks are very popular. It is an interesting castle visit in Trakai which you can reach by bus or train. There are multiple sightseeings including churches and museums

A very friendly, interesting and welcoming place.
A very friendly, interesting and welcoming place. The churches, museums and 'tourist' spots were well maintained and full of character. The history of Vilnius and its trials and tribulations over the centuries are well recorded and shown with pride. There are lots of coffee bars, restaurants and pubs offering very good value. Public transport is very cheap - 1Euro from the airport to the town and 3Euros on an airport express bus for the return journey. For the tourist the one area for improvement is the 'Tourist Information' town map. It needs to more detailed showing the various attractions - but other than that it was great.

Vilnius has lots to offer, if your interest is in churches & baroque. Almost all museums were in refurbishing or putting up new exhibitions, so cannot say much about them.
Namas was a totally wonderful fine dining experience: 50e for 4 courses + kitchen's greeting. Best restaurant in ages!

The airport arrivals building looks as if it hasn’t been updated since the Soviet era then you get in a taxi and travel through rather grim industrial landscape with I was expecting to see posters of Josef Stalin BUT! Once you arrive in the Old town you are in a different world! Beautiful buildings cobbled streets public parks etc. my 3 nights was not long enough next time I’m here I will stay longer. Best tip-forget about renting a car just download the Bolt app for taxis it works exactly like Uber in the uk and rides are roughly one third the price of regular taxis
Near the river and a short walk to the bus stop (8 mins). Great views and facilities and not far to walk to the old town or nearby sites.
There was a jacuzzi and sauna to relax in at the end of a busy day of exploring the city.
The breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choice.
The views from the bar on the 22nd floor were also great, we had a drink one evening and saw the sunset.
Buses to the airport were easy to access from the bus stop (8 mins walk).
The area around the hotel is quiet although there are restaurants and shops nearby.
The room is perfect for a couple, very clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet neighborhood.
The location is perfect too, old town and city center is within walking distance.
Also, the train and bus station is only a few minutes away, so it's super easy to get around.
The hotel is very nice too, super clean and friendly staff. The bed was big and very comfy.
I would also recommend Boulangerie Vilnius for amazing pastries, which is nearby (about 5 mins walking from the hotel).
We loved everything about the hotel - room with spa-like bathroom, location in very clean old town near many restaurants and main square, and especially the breakfasts were exceptional! The building is so unique and charming, it's online pictures can't do it justice. All the reception staff, especially Andrus and Vytus, were so gracious, welcoming, and helpful,, we felt so comfortably 'at home' for our week at this truly special hotel. We'll return as soon as we can!
The Hotel is located in the heart of the old town in the ancient building. My suite was really large and very stylish! So calm and comfortable! I was proposed with room upgrade at the check-in and a compliment (!). The staff was extremely supportive, as it should be in a 5-star Hotel. The sauna and swimming pool are available for personal use but should be booked beforehand. This is one of the best places I've ever been! Definitely, it's worth getting back.
Pleasant, quiet room at the back of the hotel, overlooking a public area, where youngsters played volleyball. The hotel is on a main road and I guess, if there are rooms at the front, they may be noisy. It was two minutes walk to the Old Town, which is not only impressive and beautiful but quite small and easy to wander around. It was also conveniently close to the train and bus stations. For us Vilnius was the nicest of the three Baltic States capitals.
Stylish, clean, comfortable hotel with a cool contemporary twist. My room was very spacious, clean, comfortable bed, tastefully decorated, enough space to hang/store cloths, very well arranged bathroom. The reception staff was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Great location, 15 minutes walk to the train station, the old town, but also the less touristy, yet architecturally charming parts of Vilnius.
The Hotel is located at walking distance from Vilnius airport and rental car center. Makes it very convenient for a business traveler who has to visit other parts of Lithuania.
The room was very good with adequate facilities including an ironing board and iron which are essential for a business traveler.
The restaurant and bar was very good with choice of vegetarian dishes and local draft beer!
Location was great. Situated halfway between the old town and the train/bus station. Staff members were all very caring and hospitable. Thanks to Diana, the receptionist, and all the rest of the staff who gave recommendations to do around the old town. Breakfast was personalised. Hotel was owned by 3 Lithuanian locals in which we strongly support local businesses. Rooms were spacious.
The welcoming and kind attitude of the staff was absolutely exceptional, more fitting of a five star hotel than a modest extremely inexpensive hostel such as this one.
The location was unbeatable, absolutely perfect, practically the center of the Old Town where all the main attractions of Vilnius are located.
The kitchen was very well equipped with all the necessities.
Great location in the very center of the old town, at the Gate of Dawn. The hotel may not be very comfortable, but the fact that it is located in the buildings of a former male monastery compensates for everything. Staying in the old building where the wall thickness is about 1m, makes a phenomenal impression. It's worth stopping by at least once.
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Our room was a refurbished attic and we had a wonderful view to rooftops and old town. The design of the room was pleasant and generally calm and quiet at night. The hotel location is excellent. Restaurants and historical sights are within walking distance.
Very kind and helpful staff, perfect location close to good cafés (really recommend a place called Lola for breakfast!) and all the other things in the Old Town - also easy to get pretty close to the hotel with a bus from the airport, and the bus and train stations are super close too. Very clean and pretty interiors.
I stayed at hotel congress for two days and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was very delicious. The bus arriving from the airport stops near the hotel and the old town is in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again in the future
The staff and the Rock vibe were the best part of the stay! Beds were quite comfy and Aircon was very useful in the summer
Also it's super convenient how close the hotel is to both the airport and the train station and only about 15 minutes walk to Vilnius old town.
Loads of amazing restaurants very close by
its my favorite place in lithuania to stay. you feel like home every time you come back. this hotel have a home feeling vibe somehow, and its the most important thing to me. staff is very friendly, lov them 🤍 food at the restaurant is amazing, spa also. just the best words for this hotel. coming back soon ✨
The breakfast was the best of all the hotels I stayed at in the Baltic countries, and it had the best value for money.
Conveniently located 6 minutes walk from the central station, close to the old town, and close to the market. The nearby Georgian restaurant was also delicious.
Double room apartment with balcony, which had great view over Old Town. Hotel located 15-20 min walk from Old Town. Rich breakfast with several meals made on request (omelete, avocado toast, etc.). TV in the room had build-in Chromecast, so we could stream from our tablet.
The location is really great, it's close to the river, and not far from old town center.
It's really recommended for people who travel for work, you can sleep well since the hotel area is really quite, and there are many things nearby for you to explore after work.
1. The location is very convienence esp if you travel by plane. You can take bus no.88 from airport to the front of the hotel. Walkable distance to old town and every attraction.
2. Spacious room with super comfy bed
It's a good (although rather basic) hotel located in the city center, next to the old town. Quite a good option for a short stay, as it was the case for us.
