Mohammedia is a calm vibrant city that has everything for their residents and visitors. It is geographically placed between Casablanca and Rabat and the location is brilliant for people to commute and tour Morroco. In my opinion the best city in Morocco for many many reasons.

Good range of eating places.
Good range of eating places. Avanti hotel nice for a relaxed drink in the evening and The Sphinx a great place to drink and eat and sit outside and watch the sun go down. A good place to base your stay as the railway station links quickly and easily to other nearby cities Rabat, Marrakesh, Casablanca cheap reliable regular rail travel. Taxis plentiful and good value

Furthermore, very classic building and the layout of the garden are harmonize on the very spacious amount of land. Hotel workers are ready to help and know the need of the customer, Nawal, she be was very understanding. I arrived there very early, check in time was 3:00 pm, however she helped me in the room even before 11 o’clock. I could rest very well and enjoyed my staying instead of waiting for nothing. The hotel is clean and very well located HOWEVER it can be very noisy during the peak season as facing the beach and many attractions. If you are visiting the Avanti during the month of June or during the summer, choose a room facing the garden/parking and not the beach as the music can take place until very late (2 or 3 AM).

The so called property manager doesn’t respond to calls, and posted the same picture for different properties in Mohamadia. I notified Booking.com, but never reacted. last time I will ever book on Booking.com, very poor customer service.

Close to Casablanca we traveled North to Rabat and Tanger so this was just a very comfortable place to stop and just really unwind and relaxed.
