I have been many many times in the last 37 years and it never fails to impress, plenty to do for a long weekend, easily accessible from Tangiers by train or taxi (approx 200mdh), very safe, lovely people, new marina being built , probably best to stay outside the marina as it might be noisy at night, plenty of affordable accommodation in the area, great choice of eateries, shops and hammams, car not necessary

It is a quiet little town with a history of Portuguese occupation. The Medina is small and clean and many artists live here. There is a mural festival every year. Plenty of fish restaurants and a market street. Not a party town.

The medina was very clean.
The medina was very clean. We watched the sunset from Cafe Derya, which was beautiful. The Medina lets its white walls painted by artists every July, that was interesting. Nice restaurants. We visited Paradise beach on the day we left, but its definetely one of the best beaches in Morocco. The access road is easier by 4x4. But if you want a beach, that's the one to go for, with plenty of small restaurants.

Asiilah is a small town/city off the main tourist track.
Asiilah is a small town/city off the main tourist track. I was looking for an "authentic" Moroccan urban experience and Asilah was perfect for that. The hustlers were to a minimum, the markets, shops and street vendors had a wide supply of offerings. The produce sold on the street was of the most beautiful colors and freshness. The shopping I did was without pressure and fun. Asilah should be seen if you are nearby and stay at the Riad Oasis D'Asilah when there

The beaches in Asilah are a open rubbish field.
The beaches in Asilah are a open rubbish field. I would not walk on the sand without shoes, it is a wide sand shore and the waves are beautiful, but it is a shame that locals have zero respect for the environment and the beach is a landfill.
People are a little bit less pushy that Marrakesh or Fes, but there's nothing to do there. You can see the entire old town in 1h and the restaurants are just disgusting - dirty, expensive and not impressive at all.
We enjoyed one night at the Riad Aicha before having to leave early to get our travel COVID tests. The riad is centrally located and within walking distance to everything in town. The rooftop also has great views of the surrounding village and night sky. Mohammed was incredibly helpful, and found us a taxi to Tangier for a last minute train to Casablanca. We can’t thank him enough for his quick help and willingness to sit with us at a cafe for a half hour until our cab showed up.
The house is equipped in a modern way, as if you feel that you are in a 5-star hotel. You have all the necessary needs in the house to enjoy your stay in the quiet and beautiful city of Asilah in the winter.
Yassin was always at our service and the view of the city and the sea from the balcony was amazing. The apartment is close to the sea coast, the old city and restaurants.
We will definitely return to the same flat if we visit Asilah again
Incredible, caring people at this lovely riad! The building and amenities are beautiful, decorated thoughtfully with tons of happy, healthy plantlife. The personnel from management to the staff are caring and friendly, thoughtful and they go the extra mile. We stayed here for 7 nights and did day trips to northern Morocco cities and sites. We highly recommend it!!
Mohammed is a really good host always ready when needed. His welcoming smile illuminates the riad.
Great location.Right in the heart of Asilah.
Lovely kitchen
Feeling at home
Beautiful deco and art.
Fantastic terrace
I love the low bed, the tiles and the windows.
Aircon!
Will come back!!
The location is perfect, it's very near to restaurants and to the beach.
From the roof of the hotel, You can relax there with an amazing view over the beach.
As to the rooms their style is incredible. It really reflects a beautiful Moroccan vibe. Very comfortable overall.
During my stay I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel.
- All staff members were super friendly, from the Receptionist, to the Manager, Cooks, and the hotel Maids.
- Great location, near the beach and restaurants within a short walking distance
Beautiful apartment, great view, cleaned every day by staff. Restaurant downstairs, nice breakfast included. All staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to old Medina. Go to Restaurant Da Briss for fish, best fish we’ve had in Morocco.
Morocco is well known for its hospitality. But Malika, Mehdi, and the staff at Riad Oasis d'Asilah went a lot further than expected in their care and attention to detail, to make our stay in their beautiful house truly memorable.
This hostel is very good value for money. You're very close to the city centre and right next to the beach. The man that runs the hotel -Abdal Qadir- is also really friendly and very knowledgeable about Morocco and Assilah!
- Good travellers’ guesthouse vibe. Easy to socialize with other travellers
- Quiet and clean neighbourhood
- Proximity to the beach (20 meters)
- Proximity to where you can eat
- Great breakfast
- Helpful staff

The Riad was BEAUTIFUL! It was one of the best we stayed in during our trip. Breakfast was delicious. It was centrally located near the Medina & the beach, we walked through town & did a bit of shopping
Excellent apartment! with an amazing location! near everything! 24 hour security! Mohamd attention of 10! always ready to answer your questions! if you go to Asilah this is your accommodation!
