At the border of the Sahara looking into the desert. Luxury tents with all the comfort inside. Traditional costume is given at every guest to wear at the camp fire after diner. At arrival you’re given a lemon mint drink which was refreshing! The transfer with 4x4 was very enjoyable, also the camel transfer for the kids was fun (1h45min). Diner at night was delicious and more then you can eat! In the evening there is a djembe session at a camp fire where you can enjoy a free tea and you can also dance if you feel like it. Friendly staff!

We did the one night tour with the camel treck, staying in the luxury camp, and it was amazing. Everything was perfectly organised, Hassan was very helpful and every step of the tour was a pleasure, and the people involved were nice and accommodating. We also had a room for us to wait before the tour start and afterwards when we came back. Booking was quick and simple and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent!
Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed!
Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice.
Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

Merzouga is a desert town principally set up to offer a desert experience and trips into the Sahara. There are limited food and 'tourist' shops and a number of restauarants (although we didn't use these). Our hosts at Auberge Les Roches catered for all our needs and desert experience.
Really enjoyed our stay at Riad Madu after a night at the desert camp. We actually stopped the day prior to camping in the desert, and dropped off our laundry to be cleaned. It was waiting for us when we arrived the next afternoon. Such a nice service.
The staff was super friendly and the hotel was perfectly located with a great view of the dunes. The room was our most spacious of our trip. The bed was super firm, which I loved. Too cold for the pool, but looked very nice.
Food was very good as well. Would stay here again, no doubt.
Quiet location in a desert, away from other camps. Very good dinner (the best tajine we ate in Morocco), good breakfast. Listening Berber songs and playing drums in the evening near the fire was lovely experience. Good hosts in the camp. The man at the reception in Merzouga was very helpful and nice. Also a young Berber with a guitar in the camp was nice and talkative. I recommend to go one way to the camp riding a camel and returning next day with a jeep. A camp was nothing special but clean and comfortable.
I traveled across Morocco and I had the chance to find an available single tent at The White Camp. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at this camp in the middle of the Sahara desert. The tent has all modern equipment, comfy beds, hot water showers, and flushing toilets. Dinner & breakfast was very good. The workers here are enthusiastic and willing to help with shiny smiles on their faces. I loved everything about this luxury desert camp and I HIGHLY recommend it to every solo traveler.
This is a must-do on your Morocco trip!
We got „picked up“ by a guy which we followed with our rental car to a hotel where we could park our car. From there we (as well as our luggage) got on his 4x4 and were brought to a place in the desert where we jumped on dromedaries that brought us to the camp.
It was an amazing experience - the food (and especially breakfast) were super good and the tents better than expected. The day ended with a cool night with music by the campfire.
Kasbah hotel les roches one of the best hotels in Merzouga desert, if you're looking for a night or to make an excursion in the desert, I really recommend this hotel, the food was delicious, the stuff were very nice and friendly, they welcomed us in a worm, this hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool it's closer to the dunes, it's look beautiful and for relax, make your reservation now if you're looking for comfortable and best location 😍😍😍😍
A fantastic experience in the desert that was made easy and seemless by Hassan. He organised everything and it all worked very well. In addition, we had 6 hours to wait for the trip with camels over the sand Dunes after arriving in Merzouga and he arranged for us to be at a pool at his families hotel for the cost of a lunch. This was a good deal - somewhere to go with a nice pool and view. I'd recommend using this company for your desert stay.
We had an exceptional stay at Tassili Luxury Desert Camp. The staff was very attentive and professional. The camel ride and sand surfing was priceless. The live music by the camp fire at night was terrific. My adult kids then requested tea and cookies at 11 pm under the stars and they happily followed-through. The food - dinner and breakfast - was exceptional. We woke up for experience the sunrise in the Sahara, which we will cherish forever!
This was the highlight of our trip to the desert. The food was the best meal we’ve had in Morocco so far, and dinner was followed by a drum circle where the staff were energetic and inclusive about getting the guests to participate. The tour guides for the camels and the hotel staff were fantastic, super welcoming and kind. The “tents”(definitely glamping) were spacious. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely everything, the camp is the best option for spending unforgettable days in Merzouga. Hotel owner Hassan and all the staff made us feel at home. Room cleanliness and breakfast and dinner are great. I will never forget a night exploring the desert dunes with Hassan in a 4x4 and Omar on a camel. We enjoyed the desert with various activities. Thank you very much!!! I hope to come back
We stayed 1 night in the desert camp, one of the best place in Merzouga in the tents they have in the desert , nice food , location of the camp in the middle of the desert , and the truth is that there are no words to describe how beautiful it is.
To highlight: the treatment and how good they made us feel.
They attended to all requests always with a smile.
We will repeat for sure.
The Berber Palace hotel in the desert of Merzouga offers a serene and picturesque location with stunning views of the desert. The service is impeccable, creating a comfortable and clean environment for guests to enjoy. The swimming pool area adds an extra touch of relaxation, making it a perfect retreat in the desert.

Thank you for the hospitality
Exceptional doesn't begin to describe our time at this luxury camp in Merzouga. The attention to detail in the camp's design, from the plush furnishings to the gourmet dining under the stars, exceeded our expectations. The warmth of the staff and their dedication to creating a personalized experience made this stay a highlight of our journey through Morocco."
I recently stayed at this camp in Merzouga, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The camp was well-organized, with comfortable tents, delicious traditional meals, and attentive staff. The highlight was undoubtedly the camel trek into the Sahara Desert and watching the sunrise over the dunes. It's a must-do for anyone visiting Morocco!
Desert camp erg chebbi was our camp in Merzouga desert, the desert start in front of the tent, the dinner and the breakfast were the best we had in Morocco.
The camel ride into the dunes for sunset was great experience.
And all team of the camp were nice people, the camp was comfortable!
Thank you for everything.
The location was great right opposite Hassilabied one of the largest sand dunes in Merzouga. The food was (now after 3 more hotels) honestly the best we have had and great value at 8 euros per person. The owner was very hospitable and the hotel a real treat after a night in the desert with excellent wifi coverage.
The room was very clean, quiet and cozy. Beautiful view on Erg-Chebbi desert from the terrace. Big and delicious breakfast. Very kind and hospitable hotel owners helped us to organize activities at exact time at the desert which was convinient for us at this short stay in Merzouga.
An unparalleled desert retreat! The luxury camp in Merzouga provided an immersive and opulent experience. Waking up to the sunrise over the dunes, savoring gourmet meals, and enjoying the nightly campfire under the vast desert sky – an absolute highlight of our journey
I read a lot of reviews for the Merzouga desert camps before I chose Berber lifestyle camp. More than satisfied with the choice. The operators made sure I was able to get a camel ride to the camp when it was a little doubtful for some moments.
Amazing experience the Sahara desert is one of the best places in Morocco! The Camel Trek cross the dunes during the sunset is extremely priceless! Definitely worth it!
luxury camp africa tent
Excellent dinner, the best one in Morocco. The camp itself do not need any presentation. Pictures and services are real..really luxury stay in the middle of desert.
