Riad Inspira is a meticulously renovated riad cared for by Jihane and Hananne. Built in the 16th century this intimate riad offers comfort and style with an excellent quality/price ratio. It has been furnished traditionally using artisanal crafts, architectural salvage and has many antique examples of Moroccan objet d'art. The riad itself is an excellent example of the buildings erected in the era in which it was built, reflecting the ambition and ego of the tyrannous Moulay Ismail, Sultan of Morocco, who held his Imperial home in the City of Meknes. We look forward to welcoming you and trust you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Expect a warm welcome and friendly service at Riad Inspira. On your arrival you will be welcomed with a glass of traditional Moroccan mint tea and offered information on places to visit or the best places to eat. Should you need any travel information we are willing to help in any way we can. We understand that touring Morocco can be a tiring adventure and we are delighted to offer travellers such a comfortable and tranquil place to rest their weary heads.
Our traditional house/riad is situated in a quiet area of the ancient medina of Meknes. The rooms are all en suite and situated around a small courtyard which opens up to the terrace two floors above. The terrace has an outside kitchen with serving island, fridge and washing machine. A ten minute medina walk to Place El Hedim and all other sites of interest. Transport can also be arranged to and from our house.
