At the border of the Sahara looking into the desert. Luxury tents with all the comfort inside. Traditional costume is given at every guest to wear at the camp fire after diner. At arrival you’re given a lemon mint drink which was refreshing! The transfer with 4x4 was very enjoyable, also the camel transfer for the kids was fun (1h45min). Diner at night was delicious and more then you can eat! In the evening there is a djembe session at a camp fire where you can enjoy a free tea and you can also dance if you feel like it. Friendly staff!

We did the one night tour with the camel treck, staying in the luxury camp, and it was amazing. Everything was perfectly organised, Hassan was very helpful and every step of the tour was a pleasure, and the people involved were nice and accommodating. We also had a room for us to wait before the tour start and afterwards when we came back. Booking was quick and simple and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent!
Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed!
Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice.
Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

Merzouga is a desert town principally set up to offer a desert experience and trips into the Sahara. There are limited food and 'tourist' shops and a number of restauarants (although we didn't use these). Our hosts at Auberge Les Roches catered for all our needs and desert experience.
Merzouga Sahara luxury camp is excellent! Above any expectation! We had a big tent like a large room, a very comfortable bed, toilet and a shower. Clean, comfortable, great quality of food in abundance. The staff is very polite and helpful. At night, after dinner, we danced and we played the local instruments.
The experience with the camels is unique. You definitely have to live it even if you are not the most adventurous person! We went with the camels and came back with the jeep.
I highly recommend this place.
Quiet location in a desert, away from other camps. Very good dinner (the best tajine we ate in Morocco), good breakfast. Listening Berber songs and playing drums in the evening near the fire was lovely experience. Good hosts in the camp. The man at the reception in Merzouga was very helpful and nice. Also a young Berber with a guitar in the camp was nice and talkative. I recommend to go one way to the camp riding a camel and returning next day with a jeep. A camp was nothing special but clean and comfortable.
Everything! Wonderful stay in the desert! The staff is amazing and very attentive. Excellent dinner, we really enjoyed the special taijine from the desert! Watching the sunrise with a camel walk is strongly recommended, we loved it! The desert camp has all the facilities: beautiful tents, comfortable beds, shower and toilet. It is also possible to practise sandboarding for free. They have a big dune nearby where an amazing view of the Sahara desert can be appreciated just book at authentic desert luxury
This is a must-do on your Morocco trip!
We got „picked up“ by a guy which we followed with our rental car to a hotel where we could park our car. From there we (as well as our luggage) got on his 4x4 and were brought to a place in the desert where we jumped on dromedaries that brought us to the camp.
It was an amazing experience - the food (and especially breakfast) were super good and the tents better than expected. The day ended with a cool night with music by the campfire.
Kasbah hotel les roches one of the best hotels in Merzouga desert, if you're looking for a night or to make an excursion in the desert, I really recommend this hotel, the food was delicious, the stuff were very nice and friendly, they welcomed us in a worm, this hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool it's closer to the dunes, it's look beautiful and for relax, make your reservation now if you're looking for comfortable and best location 😍😍😍😍
A fantastic experience in the desert that was made easy and seemless by Hassan. He organised everything and it all worked very well. In addition, we had 6 hours to wait for the trip with camels over the sand Dunes after arriving in Merzouga and he arranged for us to be at a pool at his families hotel for the cost of a lunch. This was a good deal - somewhere to go with a nice pool and view. I'd recommend using this company for your desert stay.
This desert camp is magical, what a fun and pleasant experience! The camp with the food, beds, bathrooms clean, food, fireplace with drummers/ singing/ dancing, camels, sandboarding, the night sky, meeting people from all over the world... All of it was amazing! Youssef was our guide and took great care of us from the start to the end! He was a great driver, knowledgeable of Morocco, communicated well, and took care of everything.
The staff at Milky Way Luxury Desert Camp went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and attended to my every need. The location, nestled in the dunes was the perfect setting for freeing my mind and enjoying the golden sand. The evening included delicious Moroccan tajine, followed by entertainment, consisting of traditional Berber music and dance performed outside around the fire, made magical by the Milky Way above.
Best trip of our life. The service was great during all the trip. Hassan has been looking up for everything to be perfect during all the trip. The van was amazing. The hotels were great. The desert camp was a dream, for sure the best place of all the desert camps nearby. If you want to do a trip to Morocco this is your best option. We will come back and we will contact Hassan again for our next adventure!
A stay at theis luxury camp in Merzouga is a must for anyone seeking a unique and lavish escape. The seamless blend of traditional Berber hospitality and modern luxury amenities created an oasis in the desert. Our camel trek to the camp was an adventure in itself, and once there, the comfort of the accommodations combined with the authentic cultural experiences made our stay truly unforgettable
This was the highlight of our trip to the desert. The food was the best meal we’ve had in Morocco so far, and dinner was followed by a drum circle where the staff were energetic and inclusive about getting the guests to participate. The tour guides for the camels and the hotel staff were fantastic, super welcoming and kind. The “tents”(definitely glamping) were spacious. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely everything, the camp is the best option for spending unforgettable days in Merzouga. Hotel owner Hassan and all the staff made us feel at home. Room cleanliness and breakfast and dinner are great. I will never forget a night exploring the desert dunes with Hassan in a 4x4 and Omar on a camel. We enjoyed the desert with various activities. Thank you very much!!! I hope to come back
Exceptional doesn't begin to describe our time at this luxury camp in Merzouga. The attention to detail in the camp's design, from the plush furnishings to the gourmet dining under the stars, exceeded our expectations. The warmth of the staff and their dedication to creating a personalized experience made this stay a highlight of our journey through Morocco."
Outstanding desert camp. extremely well-planned camel ride. The tent was roomy and tastefully furnished. The entire crew is pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent and plenty. The barber night performance, which included music and fire, was excellent. We advise everyone to stay at this original luxury camp.
The location was great right opposite Hassilabied one of the largest sand dunes in Merzouga. The food was (now after 3 more hotels) honestly the best we have had and great value at 8 euros per person. The owner was very hospitable and the hotel a real treat after a night in the desert with excellent wifi coverage.
Azawad Luxury Desert Camp is an wonderful desert experience. The camp is well run by an efficient staff, the tents are comfortable, and the food is great. The camel ride to the camp was amazing, and they planned the route to maximize privacy and beauty. We can highly recommend this camp and its excellent staff.
How much I hate spending another night, or even 3 this time, in the middle of the desert in Merzouga, sleeping outside (even if the bivouacs were luxury and available) and contemplating this beautiful starry sky like never before!!! ride a camel and enjoy the sunrise and sunset......it was a unique experience,
Our stay at Merzouga Memories luxury camp was fantastic on all levels, but the staff was super amazing, thank you so much to all our Hosts who made this experience unforgettable, with a special mention to our tour guide, thank you very much Merzouga Memories luxury camp this is the best Trip in desert
The room was very clean, quiet and cozy. Beautiful view on Erg-Chebbi desert from the terrace. Big and delicious breakfast. Very kind and hospitable hotel owners helped us to organize activities at exact time at the desert which was convinient for us at this short stay in Merzouga.
Amazing experience the Sahara desert is one of the best places in Morocco! The Camel Trek cross the dunes during the sunset is extremely priceless! Definitely worth it!
