Super friendly, relaxed and helpfull host. He is crazy about dessert driving in al aspects ( rally, races, recreation; bikes, quads, buggies, etc ) The location is situated on the edge of the dunes - and for us: staying 2 nights, with an early rise on 1 day to see sunrise + another day to see sunset is much better and more convenient than all the ‘ride a dromedary and stay in a tent in the dessert. ( These tents are also on the edge of the dunes and it’s mass tourism !) It’s easy and not risky or dangerous to walk a few km’s in the dessert - the host can help you.

Takojt is located a 10-minute drive from Merzouga City Centre and 60 km from Erfoud City. It offers visits to local oasis and guided excursions through the desert.
