1. The room was very comfortable and large. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail. Kitchen was well equipped and clean. 2. Good daily cleaning. Perfect white linen and towels. 3. If any questions arise, the staff is ready to solve them almost instantly. 4. Bed was very comfortable. There was a choice of pillows. 5. Location: near the ferry, bars, promenade, supermarket and bus stop, but at the same time on a quite street. 6. Balcony!

When we travel, we don't like to set our expectations too high, so as to avoid being disappointed, and also because we don't feel entitled to a perfect stay. So we like to stay open and are always prepared to adjust things and adapt to our environment. But as soon as we stepped into D Townhouse Boutique, we knew we could lower our guard and relax. Everything, from the kindness of owner Dave, the helpfulness and sense of humor of manager Steven, to the tiniest details around the room, were a pleasant surprise. It's like everything was thought of to make your stay as nice and comfortable as it can get. We fell in love with Malta, and this boutique hotel was the cherry on the cake. A perfect stay can exist after all :)

Good location close to the ferry and lots of restaurants in Sliema. We had the room with a queen and sofa bed. It was a good size and the kitchenette was nice and well stocked with a toaster, kettle, and dishes. The robes and slippers were a nice touch. The roof deck was lovely. Dave helped arrange a taxi to the hotel, which was great. Dave was responsive to adjusting the taxi pick up and check-in time when our flight was 2 hours late. The room was very quiet. The complimentary bottled water and local beer in the fridge was great.

David, Lisa and Stephen are great hosts and so welcoming and helpful. For our needs the apartment could not be in a better location. Ferry, transit and good restaurants all nearby. We were unsure of our arrival time as we flew into Malta early in the morning and rented a car from the airport to see the west and north side of the island. David sent us clear instructions and information on how access our apartment so we could arrive at our leisure depending on how our day progressed. Access was exactly as David said and we had no problems entering the apartment. We used David’s restaurant tips and every recommendation was a good one.

It truly is a hotel with a soul. Everything is so charming, warm, and friendly, from the rooms down to the owners and staff. It has everything you need - the bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the room clean and beautifully decorated - but with a personal touch and warmth you can never find in a larger hotel. The photos don't do it justice. Dave, the owner, gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and wines. We're looking forward to visiting Malta again and we're definitely staying here!

The Host was extremely friendly and considerate, The Room was clean and beautifully designed. We got extremely good advice on places to visit and where to eat locally. The location is perfect, just outside the busy touristic centre but a 2 min walk from the ferry that leaves you in Valletta within 5-10 min. Probably the best Booking lange location in Malta.
